This is a TV series and all performer, except Lina Esco (Chris) were seemingly fired. Alex Russel (Street), Johnson (Luca), Harrington (Deacon) and so on by the producers why ever and Shemar Moore is also an execute producer of that crime show SWAT. So, IDK what that all means, but the producers, showrunner should know why. Sorry, but it just looks like this.

This is so sad. I mean i just found out that S.W.A.T is going to have season 8 and almost the entier team is GONE! I mean, Chris left at the end of season 5, Street left this season in episode 5, Luca also left in episode 7, now Deacon is retiering. Now only Hondo and Tan are the only ones left from the original team.

I just started bawling at the start of the episode after the "PREVIOUSLY ON SWAT..." bit with the old team photo. I mean, that photo was the picture taken when SWAT was picked up for a series order 😭😭😭 I'm crying even harder now than I did watching this last night 😭😭

@@clannad99germany70 Shemar only became a producer this and what was presumed to be final season. This why we’re getting so many send offs. CBS has to cut a check to Sony for the rights so the budget might’ve been a lot tighter. Might’ve been why those two only got guest spots. I haven’t seen anything from the actors who play as Luca and Street but the guy who plays as Deacon has commented on the show’s renewal so we’ll see if Deacon un retires for during season 8.

I know they wrote season 7 ending before season 8 was renewed, but what will the new season be like without Deacon, Street, and Luca. Three main characters were written out because of the series ending. It breaks my heart to know that a complete new season will not have those three in it.

This is a sad change I think but I guess when you choose to fall in love and have kids life becomes a situationship sadly. I wish there was a way that Chris could come back but sadly there was a situationship that the actor wanted more or something wasn't right between money payments. Anyways, I wish there was a way that Dekon could put himself as part time or let his wife choose the hours and discuss sadly with the boss like a parent would I guess. Idk sucks how there's a situationship within anything really

There's been conflicting reports about SWAT moving forward. Some claim Season 8 is the last, others claim the network and showrunners are open to continuing past Season 8. Guess we'll have to wait and see

Poor deacon was a victim of DEI from episode 1 , I always felt bad for his character from not getting the team lead job for being white to the way Chris tried to shove her alternate lifestyle beliefs down his throat for being catholic .and hondo complains he won’t know what it’s like not having him on the team , all about himself

@sandra. It is just a show. I can't fault a man or a woman in real life making that decision though... Sometimes there are things more important than the job. I made that decision myself back in 2010 when I retire from the Navy. I was a Hospital Corpsman and I'd done time in Iraq and Afghanistan With the Marines. I loved my job I love the people I worked with and I was absolutely dedicated to them. I also meant someone before I left And we fell in love. That woman is my wife now and it reached the point where I where I knew I have do everything I could wearing the uniform. When I told my CO when we got back state said I was gonna retire He said this to me. " Go live your life doc. You earned it "

Time to cancel it. Never had a quality for a long running show and the few that kept it afloat is leaving. Sad to see a trash show get renewed over and over again when good shows get cancelled.
