I'm still chuckling over Link and Sidon. I know a lavender marriage when I see one. Yona knows perfectly well that Sidon and Link are an item and she's clearly supportive. If Sidon really wanted to keep his thing with Link a secret, maybe he shouldn't have put a statue of Link riding him in the middle of town, or surrounded Zora's Domain with glowing love letters to Link carved in stone.

The thing that really annoys me about the ghost pals in TOTK is when you need them in battle, they’re right next to the creature you’re trying to fight. But, when you’re just picking stuff up off the ground, they’re all over you… I’ve been so many items because of this.

Time loops are not paradoxes within time travel, its the inevitable result. Young Link ALWAYS learned the song in the windmill, but future Link just hasnt experienced it in HIS relative present yet, because him going back in time and learning the song is part of his relative future, despite it happening in his "past". So those events happened, he just doesnt remember them because those events havent happened from his personal perspective yet. It's much like the compass in Lost. It doesn't have an origin. It simply always existed as a result of the time loop itself.

Not every Zelda game can be perfect. I appreciated Skyward Sword for what it is: I honestly felt pretty epic about a story of a man descending from the sky to explore lands that wouldn't be developed into the modern stuff his reincarnations would be familiar with until much later. And there were some moments that stuck with me forever, one notable occasion being that incident with the Ghost Hand in the toilet making Cawlin's life miserable no matter who I choose to hand the note off to.

We absolutely need a Switch port of Twilight Princess. That was one of my favorites, except for the stupid Wii sensor stuff. I still remember my frustration at trying to peg that one faraway target for the shopkeeper kid without using the scope, only for the stupid reticle to twitch and jiggle because of the bad sensors.

Skyward Sword really didn't do it for me. I'm an OOT kid so Zelda for me is all about traveling to different places, meeting different races and doing dungeons. That comment on doing mini dungeons before the dungeon felt true. I didn't finish it because of this. Felt like a Zelda simulator instead of an actual game.
