Only in the basic structure, it’s battle system is it’s own take on the weakness system of SMT with the inclusion of the weapon triangle from Fire Emblem along with Sessions, Ad-libs, SP Skills, and Dual performances. Not to mention Class changes, Carnage and Radiant unities.

Bayonetta was already established to be m rated with the first one. With it not being a Nintendo IP, I guess Nintendo did not really care the age rating they got

@@josedeleon9273 kinda weird that Fire Emblem has topics of killings, war crimes, relationships etc. and still has PEGI 12 age rating. SMT V got 15+ because it has nudity and some sexual content. They definitely don't need to make the crossover an idol thing to give it a lower age rating.

Video really sells this game short. The combat is insanely good and can be complex enough on normal but there's also a hard mode if you want to be more engaged. It is significantly less 'just watch' than indicated and it is one of the highest praised parts of the game. If you want a less intense plot, fun battle system, insanely good OST and meaningful, deep progression; this is your game.

I love this game to death because of how stupid it is and how it's only serious for like 2% of the game; its fun watching the random performances in the battle, and it's fun seeing an entire group of enemies get wiped out by 1 simple move that turns into 24 freebies + two concerts. Definitely a game you can sit down to and just actually, genuinely have fun with.
