I’ve just had the same experience- rejected after approx 4 days and then, less than a week later (on my birthday 😆) I got accepted - I did nothing. So I’ve jumped in and started listing so they can’t change their mind 😊

Hi Phillip, Greivin from Costa Rica here. I just applied (my second time) for Amazon Merch on Demand, did you know that the current character limit for "Additional Information" in the application form is just 512 characters? I was shocked because I've been preparing myself for this new application for months and had a 2000 already reviewed draft, with 512 characters is really difficult to really demonstrate anything at least that's what I think, a link to a good portfolio and some key elements as commitment to not infringe copyright is likely most of what we can do now.

Can we attach image files right in the application form? If yes, would it be a good idea instead of providing an external link to a portfolio (if we don't have one)?

When it asks for a company name during the application process (which it states, you can just use your own name, if you dont have 1) when applying in the UK. Does it/would it help an application possibly? I realise that the chances are I can't get a definitive answer but I feel that it may increase the possibility because it shows you're a registered company which means you're willing to declare and pay taxes. Any thoughts or experiences?

You have to declare and pay taxes if you do it as a sole trader as well. It could make a difference as it looks more professional perhaps yeah. But I doubt it makes much of a difference if any

I just tried for the 4th time and wasn't accepted. I only have over 100 sales on etsy and I didn't show my store the first times because I didn't have much sales. I will try again sending the tostadora link. Lets see if I get lucky

You are allowed to change /edit the personal information what you are not allowed to do is change the entire details into someone else’s name & details. Doing this breaks TOS & they can & will in time terminate the account.

pretty sure it's not against their terms. They just suggest in their FAQ not to re-apply. There is a difference
