We did have a language barrier, but with the help of others in our surroundings, I could ask a few questions and get a very honest price. I ended up having my shoes fixed perfectly and giving him a huge reward for his work. Forty-five years old and 25 years of work experience. Incredibly hard-working people of India 🇮🇳

For us Indians these small businesses are life saviours snd also save us from unnecessary spending of money. We don't believe in throwing out the things when just a little repair or alteration is enough to make the best use of a product. When i used to go to my college, i used to leave my shoes, small bags or purses or any household stuff, etc anything with an uncle's tiny repair shop so that he can fix it and i would take it back while returning home. These are our small habits and lifestyle to reduce waste.
