Hi joanna ..ive got pretty much all of your middle eastern perfumes you have recommended and we seem to have the same taste. Sehr to me at the beginning was not really working for me either it didnt seem strong or long lasting . But I have left it alone for a good couple of months and now its amazing 😊 i purchased sjp stash because of you and wow that is amazing ive ended up purchasing 5 bottlee i found it really cheap here on the uk . But on e bay they are askimg crazy money . But it is beautiful.

I went to Ulta to try both and I definitely liked the intense better is more warm deep sweet and sofisticated I like the original also but the intense is way better in my opinion.

Love your honesty and description of perfumes! I feel the same about St. Barts and thought something was wrong with me as every other review was so glowing! Have been trying to love it but feel it is synthetic smelling as well!

I ordered sehr. When it arrives I will spray it and place it back in the box and let it macerate for 4 weeks. Maybe by Nov it may be ready to come out and play nice😉 enjoyed your review and love your channel❤

Hi! I just got a sample of Goddess Intense and a bottle of Phlur Vanilla Skin. They both got that woody vanilla nuisance. Not too bad to me, but you’re right it may be redundant to own both Burberry Goddess. I thought maybe the OG and intense can layer nicely in the fall winter months. As for Sehr, I just ordered it along with the new Fragrance World Fierte (Baby Cat clone)! I hope you can review that one too ❤️

I have both Burberry goddesses I purchased the full bottle. On my skin they both smell so beautiful and in my personal opinion they smell a little bit similar especially now that I’ve let it sit for almost 3 weeks. I actually got them to layer together and I can honestly tell u they are very beautiful together to me both goddesses are my favorite I have no regrets purchasing the full bottle of the intense

Vanilla skin is beautiful and the edp layered together amplifies the fragrance so much more both are so beautiful

I had the Ouai St Bart's mist and I returned it, it was very synthetic coconut to me as well!! It's really hard not to jump on the band wagon! 😅😅 ..but it was definitely the type of coconut that I do not like! 🤭

Hi Joanna! You have such a lovely glow! Sunshine looks great on you. 😊 I am very happy I didn't purchase Burberry Goddess Intense.😬 That doesn't sound like my vibe. Allow me to push back a bit on Sehr. It's odd that you said Girl of Now Shine...that for me is very sweet. I decluttered that one precisely because it was so sweet. But, in Sehr, I don't get the sweet almond you describe. Almond yes, and slightly synthetic. But not syrupy sweet to me. I find it cozy, sexy and I love that suede note. Try to get a sample of Lattafa's Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold. It's similar to this one, minus the almond and with perhaps a bit more vanilla. In any case, sorry Sehr didn't work out for you!

Karen! Funny I decluttered as well Girl of Now.. not the Shine though because they smell different. The OG Girl of Now is definitely sweet almonds. Now I realized Sehr is giving me Shaghaf Oud Tonka almonds and since you mentioned Ishq al Shuyuq (Rosendo Mateu 5 dupe which I own) I get that suede feel. So to me it’s like Shaghaf Oud Tonka mixed with Rosendo Mateu 5 (not very smooth blend though) but let’s see after it sits…

Hey Joanna - I think you hit the nail on the head. Much depends on the size of one’s collection. Mine is big now, but I could imagine a couple years ago I would have jumped all over these and been totally ecstatic. I bought a decant of Sehr and am letting it sit. Will try it again on a cooler day 😉🍁

Joanna how would you compare Vanilla Skin to Vanilla 28? Vanilla 28 smelled like rum to me... and too much brown sugar instead of vanilla.. Had to sell my bottle.🤷‍♀️😕

Hi! Vanilla 28 has more depth and it’s more full bodied. Vanilla Skin is definitely more sugar than vanilla however it has light smokiness that makes it not just sugary vanilla…

Hi Joanna. I was wondering if you can advise me. I’ll be travelling to Italy soon and stopping over in Abu Dhabi. I can’t find much information about perfume stores or brands at the airport, however I think they have designer fragrances. I’m interested in picking up some middle eastern brands, however Lattafa isn’t sold there. I’ve blind bought quite a few but don’t like some. Any suggestions either Abu Dhabi or Italy? Phlur don’t send to Australia ( where I live) nor Italy

Hi there! So you mean you’re just transiting without leaving the airport of Abu Dhabi? You’re right I don’t think they sell Lattafa in airports. I suggest buy online in an Italian website and have it delivered in the hotel/ accommodation you are staying in Italy. I dislike Goddess Intense with passion. To my nose it’s not even close to OG. It’s harsh, dark, there’s nothing gourmand about it, it’s not sweet at all.
