@itscjhey3 жыл бұрын
Honestly, Ariana's makeup is what I used to expect of 'celeb' makeup brands based on the quality of older celeb brands (lest we forget Jessica Simpson's makeup line, lol). Fenty and Rare might have been the exception, not the rule...but then, makeup production has come so far in the last decade, surely it can't be so hard for someone with Ari's wealth and connections to make something more of a step up?

Bad makeup is bad makeup. Drew Barrymore came out with Flower Beauty. Jessica Alba came out with Honest Beauty. Both brands were great. They were there even before Rare Beauty came in. I think people are disappointed with REM beauty because everyone was expecting a Fenty or Rare beauty moment but we got drug store instead, some products even worse in quality than drug store. Rare and Fenty beauty have become makeup staples whereas I don’t think Ariana was that serious or involved in her makeup line. The fact that it’s Morphe already tells me a lot. She probably just wanted makeup that she could sell to her teen and preteen fan base who will buy anything with Ariana Grande’s name on it.

Robert NEVER disappoints with his reviews…. Very honest indeed. Robert is like the only one I don’t mind that shows off, show off that PR package!! :) And that goes for any brand, it’s nice to show those things si people that do like the product can take a look at how things came or come. Also, I agree, I’m surprised that they did not add like a purple, green or like a blue or something. It looks like her products are meant to be creamy and not so buildable. This was pretty cool actually. I’ll be honest, I feel like the pictures they made for the products were not done right. They look better in person and video. Ah!!!! Thanks si much for doing this review Robert!!! I’m a little late but I work graveyard so I’ll always be a little late haha. Love you so much Robert!!! Also, you are looking great!! I hope your week is going by awesomely!!!

Robert, I'm SO excited! My husband ordered my Yule present; the Beauty Bay Bright 48 Palette! Most of my eyeshadows are either cheapo supremo or bloody ANCIENT, and they do NOT blend; now that you've convinced/taught me to use a brush and primer I SHALL GO FORTH AND SLAY!

I didn't know anything about this launch. So you can imagine my excitement when Robert started talking about old music and the brand being called r.e.m. I was pretty surprised for 2 seconds thinking R.E.M. decided to make a comeback this way 😂

I remember being a preteen in the late 90s and being the odd one out because I didn't (and don't) like body spray and EVERYONE had a body spray and perfume/cologne. Those were cash grabs, especially because they were no better than say Bath and Body Works, but 3-4x more expensive. Basically my age makes me much more lenient with the term, because I remember things being much worse.

I think the only reason from watching all the other reviews ,You were able to create any pigment is you used the liquid as a primer. You are actually the only artist that was able to create a look. Love you

Unrelated to the makeup; I LOVE your shirt! Related to the makeup; thank you for being honest w this. So often when a celebrity comes out w makeup, people feel the need to be overly polite & say everything is good/great when we can see by the video that it isn't. Or they exaggerate how good it really is, which is I appreciate that you say things like "it's fine". Bc there's nothing wrong w things being "fine"! The liquid eyeshadows were the only things that interested me from this release, so I'm curious to see if you have any luck w that color after trying it out again!

I'm so happy you done this. If Robert Welsh can make it work, it works. If Robert can't get it to work, we know.. So are the lipsticks supposed to be non transferable or? Just wondering.
@RobertWelsh3 жыл бұрын
They didn’t seem like non transferable they were very soft and creamy so I beleieve they would transfer easily

@@RobertWelsh thank you so much. I have a friend who has been looking for the perfect peachy pink for a nude. That first color, the one that you didn't like, would be perfect for them. I with you on that Robert I much prefer older music. its what I was brought up on. I couldn't tell you what songs Ariana Grande has wrote. I'm more into 60s 70s 80s and 90s music etc.
@Shimbunrio2 жыл бұрын
When I first saw REM I actually was excited for it. The package didn't really bother me because I do like the look although people say it looks "cheap" I just think it's very Ariana for me. I also think people started to brand it as cheap due to other celebs coming out with very bougie-looking packaging. The colors are actually good for a casual going outside look which is honestly not for everyone especially those who love a more glam look and want more vibrant colors (honestly I love the colors since I like a more casual eye). I would say however the biggest problem I had was their shipping, I had to email them and have to wait such a long time for it to be even shipped and processed.
