It's alright if the song wasn't to your liking considering everyone has different music tastes. Listening to your commentary, "UGLY" may be more up your alley (then again rock might not be a genre you're into even if the message is deep) or something else from their discography since they're notably one of the most versatile kpop act among the hand few that exist (there isn't a genre that they haven't tried). Also, fun fact: "Falling in Love" single handedly revived reggae in South Korea after its release and charted number one for weeks there (then again all of their releases did), bringing more awareness to the genre in their country. They cater for a wide audience so I'm sure you'll find something you like IF you keep digging.

I still remember when this came out. I was the biggest Blackjack. 2NE1 was on a 1 year hiatus. It was summer. I was on my summer break from college. Anticipating their new release. Then when the MV dropped, I binge watched all the Kpop KZbinrs react to them. JRE. 2minjinkjongkey. Oh the good old days.
