“Your Eyes Tell was originally intended for Jungkook’s mixtape but since the Japanese movie producer of the upcoming film called ‘your eyes tell’ itself chose the song to be the ost (after many demos was send), its included in BTS Japanese album”. Jungkook read the screenplay and watch the draft version of the movie and wrote the lyrics. Your Eyes Tell was the first Japanese movie OST written and produced by foreign artist (Jungkook). The movie director used the song, not only at the ending but also as an insert song of the movie. i’m so proud of Jungkook. I kind of get what you mean about the main/lead vocalist positions. All of them are great singers, each with a unique quality to his voice. However, I can’t help but think that it’s a bit disrespectful not to acknowledge the main vocalist position (Jungkook) and all the work that he does behind the scenes. Being a main vocalist does not mean the one who can sing or belt the highest notes. Not at all. Those vocal positions come with specific responsibilities in the whole process of making songs. JK as the main vocalist has been singing the guide to their songs ever since he was 15 or younger and also is credited almost in all the chorus of the songs. Being credited in the chorus means your voice fills out the spaces and background in the song. If you would check out background vocals only of BTS tracks, JK’s voice is floating around and sort of binds the melodies of the song. It’s like RM being the leader and Jhope being the main dancer/dance leader - it’s because of the roles and responsibilities they play onscreen and offscreen. I just want to point that out. JK has been for many years quietly playing these roles excellently and I just hope people, especially Armys (regradless who your bias is) will recognize, appreciate and respect that. Please don’t come at me with solo stan comments, I am not. And dont tell me it’s just a label or something insignifcant. Because it is an official position and it holds meaning. Thank you

Actually your eyes tell was supposed to be in Jungkook’s mixtape but they think that the song was good enough to be in the movie. So the song was in Korean but now they are in Japanese and it still sounds so so so good. It is an absolute masterpiece

Kookie and jimin normally have my favorite parts but Jin and Tae really had me in this one... so much emotion and ugh theyre just beautiful!!! Makes me so happy for Jin and Tae to show what they can do... I heard jungkook did the line distribution and that just warms my heart bc he loves all his hyungs came through to take this great song and elevate it to an iconic level... for me. But I think every single one of them were fantastic and think it’s important to celebrate them all creating this touching song...sugas emotion in his rap I love jhopes sing/rap was one of my favorite parts.. then rm with his deep smooth tone adding another layer.... YASS BTS'S VOCAL LINE !! Yes, at this point, they all have come so far, they all are so good, it has now become just a preference for voices. They all excel. And their voices are so unique to them, that it is difficult for me to choose. And why choose one, when they gift you 4 beautiful, different voices in a single song. Jungkook's voice sounds like a cold/cool morning breeze. Fresh, soft. Pure. A breeze that smells like flowers. Jin's voice sounds feeble and beautiful. Like the sound of water in a lake, while it is raining. Jimin's voice sounds a little dark, with a cry, high like a lightening, and yet has a softer undertone to it. Taehyung's voice, sounds like a lullaby, when lying under the stars. Warm and comforting. Like a soft blanket in a winter night. Omg.

I just want to let you know that what sets main vocalist apart in kpop is the main vocalist does most of the harmonization and background vocals to make the sound fuller, he should be the one with the best vocal technique. 💜 At this point, they can all become lead singers. Of course BTS wouldn’t satisfy & settle down with their own success. And Wow~! What a hauntingly beautiful song & emotional live performance! With this type of songs from BTS, It always surprises & impresses me how 3 different styled rappers (2 hardcore rappers & 1 melodic rapper) & 4 distinctively different styles of great vocalists makes this beautiful & emotional perfect harmony in one song. JungKook! What a beautifully made song! Those who doesn’t know, this song is OST of newly releases Japanese movies “Your Eyes Only” & this song is made & written by non other then our talented JungKook! Those who even don’t understand the meaning of lyrics still can feel the heartfelt emotions behind the song through the hauntingly beautiful melodies. All the 4 vocal lines did so wonderful job of singing this beautiful song but I can’t help but drawn to JK & Jimin’s vocal that portrait those devastatingly sad emotions through his voice so beautifully. Of course for JK this song is his baby so he can’t help but fully emotionally involved & for Jimin this song is more personal to him because this movie “your eyes tell” is remaking movie of his favorite Korean movie call “오직 그대만(eng title- Always) 2011”. Our romantic soft hearted Jimin loves this movie so much he even mentioned on his early profile as his favorite movie. It is sad & heart touching love story of young washed up fighter who lives in at parking garage as security/caretaker & a young gifted lady who has lost her family & slowly loosing her eye sight because of some tragic car accident. People said we can watch this Korean movie from Netflix & seems like you have already watched original Korean movie or read its cinematography. I have watched long time ago & I am not gonna lie. I did cry a bit. Our soft hearted Jimin’s favorite movie is this one? Oh~, Jimin!

Snow Leopard all of the members have said that it’s Jungkook’s song, he wrote this song and he helped produce and compose it too. The other people credited likely helped with the japanese translation and adding lyrics, but Jungkook still wrote it, he made the melody and wrote the lyrics after watching the movie. You shouldn’t try to take that credit away from him or act like his credit is worth less just because 2 other people helped write a few of the lyrics. He worked hard and made an incredible song, he deserves to be praised for that.

If you watch many live performances, you'll know why there are main, lead and sub vocal positions. The one who can sing almost the same voice as the studio version's with a intense dance is the main vocalist, jungkook. He has sung so stable in the ancore stages without any sort of backgroud sound effects He does sing not only his lines but adlibs and doublings, esp he sings the churus throughout the albums. That's why he keeps staying in the recording studio before releasing a new album.
