A lil background info on 4 Walls, this song was supposed to be SHINee’s title track on their Odd album whilst SHINee’s View was supposed to be F(x)’s. Both are the sibling groups of SM.

Aaron, f(x)'s specialty is they all are DANCERS. They debuted as Asia's Pop Dance Group. Victoria, Amber and Luna are main dancer materials and they majored in very different dancing styles. That makes f(x) so unique. You definitely watch their 4Walls choreography. The choreographer personally commented below that video and I haven't seen his comments in his other Kpop choreos.

This was the first kpop song I heard playing in public directly after it was released. I live in northern Sweden and back then it was such a big thing for me. Every shop I went to played this song and was so happy singing along and doing the bits of the choreography I knew.

Thank you so much for this reaction! I felt the same way about 4 walls when it was released. I was very disappointed because f(x) release weird, hard to digest songs with interesting lyrics. I enjoy it now but it’s not my favorite song. I appreciate it and the fresh new sound it gave them (no matter how short lived 😭) After Electric Shock I think Nu Abo or Pinocchio should be the next song you listen too! The ‘Mysteric’ lyric you noticed makes a reappearance in Nu Abo too!
