I LOVE THIS SONG. It's so unique. And that's what makes it timeless. It doesn't sound like other songs from that year, and 8 years later still sounds fresh. I love f(x) they're my favourite kpop group alongside SHINee. They have an amazing discography. I hope you can react to 4 walls and some of their bsides too. They're a gem in the musical industry.

f(x) popularized the tennis mini skirt trend through this song. That's why back then KPOP fans used to call those tennis mini skirt as 'f(x) skirt'.. f(x) was one of the top 2nd gen KPOP group but their popularity was not as explosive as SNSD, WONDER GIRLS, KARA, SISTAR or T-ARA but f(x) surely marked their presence in the industry with their music style and their fashions. Krystal especially was the center of attention when it came to styling and fashion among KPOP idols.

I'm not sure if i got my information right or not, but there were some information that actually said that f(x) is as popular as their own senior, Girls Generation. According to music awards vote & nomination, it was always SNSD vs f(x). Not about SNSD vs other group. As for 2nd gen, snsd is the first in the ranking, while f(x) and 2ne1 always in the 2nd ranking. While sistar usually took the 3rd place. Wonder Girls is popular but their hit song was only 'Nobody' since some of the original members from Wonder Girls left their group after their hit song, where once become the history of Kpop . And the ranking followed by KARA, TARA and else. Even though they are 2nd gen idol where kpop didn't receive much love as now, snsd, fx and 2ne1 always on top for chart, digital album & else. It's just, they have no promotion since 2016 while other 2nd group gen still promote & come back with new songs tho 3rd gen already in their place to grow. I read somewhere about f(x) where their nomination was as success as snsd, 2ne1 & wg, its just, they slowed down their activity too fast. Hope it helps!

The title in Hangul (첫 사랑니) means ‘first wisdom tooth.’ When you rearrange “첫 사랑니” you get “니 첫 사랑” which means ‘your first love’ and is what they sing at the end of the chorus (진짜 니 첫 사랑 = your real/true first love). It’s a play on words and the comparison of the pain of first love and heartbreak to the pain of your first wisdom tooth coming in. The finger sign is literally the number two. “둘” means two, which is usually what you’ll hear when you see it.

As an fx fan this is one of my favorite titles😭💗 I love the lyrics it’s written so well😢 they talk about the wisdom tooth all the time but it’s actually a metaphor for a first love which sounds almost the same in Korean 💕 I would highly recommend you “NU ABO” from the title itself the song is about them being different and unique😍 “The title is a play on words meaning "New Blood Type": A, B and O are blood types, and if the letters are said in succession, it sounds like "ye-bbi-oh" ("예삐오") “ the title in Korean written like this “NU 예삐오” honestly I miss fx so much they were so unique, those kind of titles and lyrics they always had so much to analyze and it was so interesting, I remember whenever they dropped their photo teasers everyone would talk about them because their concepts were always so creative❤️

I thought the same thing, but NCT and aespa is a bit of a stretch due to the amount of time between when they both debuted. They are considered sibling groups because they debuted close together meaning they most likely trained together. I don't know if that is the case with NCT and aespa though, since it was close to 4 years between when the 2 groups debuted. All the rest track though.

After you get through their title tracks, I would really recommend that you listen to their full albums. They have 4 in total, their last 3 which are often touted as the holy trinity of Koop albums. Their album Pink Tape is a must, it used to be called the holy bible of kpop by many (or something like that I believe lol). It was even named as album of the decade in kpop by billboard a few years ago. f(x) overall is known for having a really good and unique discography, so you definitely need to listen their albums to get a proper feel of what they’re like as a group, as well as their legacy in kpop. "first love" and "first wisdom tooth" sound really similar in Korean, so the song's cheekily comparing the experience of first love with the drive-you-crazy type pain of your first wisdom tooth lol I think it's cute. They made the English name 'RPPP' because I guess it sounded better than "First Wisdom Tooth," since the pun is lost in translation.

My original ult kpop group, the one that anchored me to kpop and made me discover so many other artists by collaboration and friendships (SHINee the brother group. SUJU and GG their older siblings energy, their cover of 4minute song, the friendship with Kara... so many good moments). Honestly i like their bsides so much (or i just might be nostalgic) RPPP isn't up my alley tho, the rest of PInk tape album is *chef kiss*. Personally, I love Red light more than this release as tittle tracks. And as mentioned by others, you might want to check their albums.
