I love how emotional this song is and you can really feel it while listening to it. I have a different interpretation of the song as it talks about being in a game, it could be compared to everyday life where you have certain tasks to fulfill, goals to achieve and you start feeling like just a character in your own life because you can't always do things in your control but you're just merely following a path that is given out. They talk about ending the game and starting over which is easy to do if you're in a game, you can lose then start again but in real life that's much harder, you have to carry all your mistakes and still proceed.

So yeah Aaron since jamais vu is the antonym of deja vu it basically means the feeling you get when you're experiencing something familiar but no matter how many times it happens to you it still feels new. In this case, I interpret the song as BTS' concern every time they feel like they disappoint us. They feel it multiple times, but every time it still takes them by surprise, it's basically like when you're playing a video game and you die at the same checkpoint. The difference is in real life there's no restart button so they have to deal with every mess that comes with the trouble over and over again. Therefore Jungkook said _"I guess I gotta deal with this, deal with the real world."_

this song is such a sad song yet another harsh reality of the world and literally the MOST underrated song in the album. while listening to the album, this song had caught my eye. the lyrics always end up making me cry once i actually understood them and namjoon explained them. you'll realise they sing with this desperate-ness... they want to rewind everything. jamais vu is the opposite of deja vu. in deja vu you experience something which you already have but in jamais vu, a situation that one recognizes in some fashion, but nonetheless seems very unfamiliar .jamais vu involves a sense of eeriness and the observer's impression of seeing the situation for the first time, despite rationally knowing that they have been in the situation before. they compare the situation to that of a video game where you can rewind everything but in reality you can't, I GUESS I GOTTA DEAL WITH DEAL WITH THIS REAL WORLD. there are in fact , several interpretations. one of them is that they try to keep running and the fall and keep falling and want to restart everything again. please give this song the love it deserves... this song is so underrated. also am i the only one who finds the ending similar to that of taylor swift's enchanted?

This means something like "never seen" and is basically the opposite of déja vu "already seen". It's a phenomenon where you see something which should be familiar but you don't recognise it and you feel like this weird and confused feeling. It's difficult to describe how to pronounce it properly.😂

Okay jamaisvu is the opposite of dejavu. So there are two concepts they are singing about. One they are comparing their life to a game, wishing sometimes it could be turned off when things get heavy and can be just started over. The second which is more in jhopes verses, he sings how even though he faces the same problems and pain everytime, it still hurts like the first time, its like a jamaisvu, “something that is familiar but still feels like its the first time its happening” the exact opposite of dejavu which means “the feeling that something that has actually NOT happened has happened before”. Hope you get the idea. The song has starcraft references. And yes a preshadowing for the next albums concept.
