She was shooting the movie "Broker " but there is still no set date for its release. The video was released on her birthday but the cake was for parent's day. Hoping to see more IU Tv reactions :):)

This video was filmed on 7 May cuz Parents' Day in Korea is on 8. It was uploaded on 16 her Birthday. Her Dad's birthday is also in May. She was filming Movie "Broker" by award winning Japanese director. Filming has completed on 22 June. She took a break to rest but being a workholic, she is probably busy with her other schedules.

Korea has a parent's day(8th. May) and children's day(5th. May) in May. And It called family's month. Sons and daughters give presents and carnations to parents for thanks. And Jieun's birthday also in May so she celebrated all of that like this.

At that time iu was filming Broker, it’s gonna be the first korean language film by a renowned Japanese auteur Hirokazu Koreeda and according to some info in the industry it’s expected to debut next year at Cannes as he usually did, thus the project is very secretive and for now there is no trailer yet.. btw it’s nice to see u start calling her by jieun and thanks for the iu reaction I’ve always enjoyed it!

This filming took place a day before parents day (in the beginning they said "tomorrow is parents day") so maybe it was filming on 4th of May (parents day is on 5th of May). And also may is her father's (Mr. Lee Jin Kook) birthday..

I don't know if it's only in Korea or abroad. And it's different from house to house. We get birthday presents when we are young. But when we grow up, we get and give presents to our parents on our birthdays. It's an expression of gratitude for bringing me to this world. And there's Parents' Day in May, which is also filmed for Parents' Day.

The filming for this was so private and secretive that even support trucks weren't accepted I think.
