As a shawol, I've passed through the same things that you're passing now, so I really recommend you to watch their live performance. The SHINee thing is the live, they give everything there and they show a new side of them. For example, Sherlock. I love this song, but the moment you watch their performance, it seems that you have never heard the song before, because it's incredible. So, try to give a chance to their performances, you might love it and those songs might really grow on you.

You need (must) watch their live performance of this song on the SHINee World IV Tour (2015). It's iconic. It's really a performance for the books. The thing about SHINEE is that their live performances can always beat their MV and songs, not only because they are awesome performers, but also because they always make it more interesting. So I really recommend you to watch live performances of them, they will help you to connect with the songs and the group.

Sherlock is a mix of 2 songs in Sherlock's mini album. in the first song is clue . second song id note. so clue + note = Sherlock. I hope you listen to these 2 songs and react Separately and also please react to the SWC IV live performance video for these 2 songs. Then you will understand why this song sounds expensive. This song is the first time SM has combined 2 songs. And the second time they use the method in the song superM one (infinite & monster). I hope you also react to Sherlock's dance practice. Sherlock choreo is the most expensive choreo in SM. This song was released in 2012 that year SHINee only made a comeback once with this mini album. I also want to give you a lot of information that Taemin included the last part of this song and mixed it with the song Danger in his solo concert. And it's super cool. And also no one can cover this song as perfect as SHINee. This is a very difficult song. Really hard. It's hard not to joke at all.

If you're gonna react to their older title tracks before 2015 (when they started to choose their own sound, concepts and songs), you definitely should watch live performances. all of their older songs like Replay, Sherlock, Lucifer, RDD, Everybody, Why So Serious are so much better live. I know that you're always react to the music videos first but seriously with SHINee and their older songs it's better to watch live versions first or instead. they are one of the BEST performers and entertainers, also they add so much elements to the song live, sometimes the studio version and the live version are like two different songs.

This is one of SHINee’s groundbreaking choreos, when it came out it had become their hardest one only after Lucifer (not including groups that had acrobatic moves, as in 2PM). The choreo received a lot of praise back in the day!

The woman in this MV is former SNSD's (Girls Generation) member. She was the main vocalist, alongside with Taeyeon. By the way, I recommend another Shinee's legendary song, Everybody. I'm not sure if it can be considered modern, but yeah trying will not hurt you, of course only if you want to. All the members, excluding Minho, had their own high notes there, I'm still amazed with that song since then until now. There is also a part where the choreography looked like Taemin's kind of dance (like what you mentioned in this video), so maybe you'll like it.

I think you won’t appreciate SHINEE if you are not guided well with their discography. It’s better if you go backwards or from oldest to recent. For example with their 2017 comeback. You should’ve reacted to the 3 main tracts but you instead reacted to “Countless” which was not even promoted by the members.

5:45 i've heard a lot of people say that onew doesnt sing in an SM way, so i asked what it meant and was told that SM apparently has specific pronunciations/styles for words when they sing and that he doesnt do it. his pronunciation is very very clear and his tone is clear, when you hear him talk and sing, it's almost identical.

Thanks for your SHINee reaction! I agree with all of the comments that ask to react to one of the concert stages of this song. They use different parts of Clue and Note in their concert stages than the MV so it sounds a little different and I think you'd enjoy the vocals in those performances. It's incredible. I appreciate your honesty! Even if this isn't really your cup of tea, I appreciate you giving this song a chance! They have 13 years worth of music, every song does not have to be a hit for you.

I think you're more biased to the newer gens arrangement of songs. New gens have a steady formula of pre chorus then beat drop mixed in with the chorus and more fast pace beat. and we have to thank Shinee sherlock mixture of two songs, GG i got a boy and BIG BANG's fantastic baby for that bc those three songs changed the game for kpop. 2nd gen of a generation of experimentation and uniqueness every group had their own sound and style. Today many groups sound the same so you get use to a certain style, so i recommend just take a deep dive in to 2nd gen to expend your kpop music taste. this way you wont go into a 2nd gen song waiting for a big drop. Just sit back and enjoy the ride bc. you never knew what you were gonna get each comeback with 2nd gen. That is why I still stan Shinee, they keep me on my toes bc i know they are gonna come with something new different and exciting! not the same old choreo and beat drop some if not all new gen groups be doing.

Hi Aaron.. thanks so much for taking time to react to SHINee group and solo MVs... but honestly, it may not be the best idea to watch their old MVs unless it's the live/performance version. I discovered them in 2017 and fell in love instantly not through their MVs but through their concerts. They are extremely amazing when they are on stage performing - music shows or concerts. You may want to start with SHINee World 3 (my fav are Symptoms, Sherlock and the adorable Girls, Girls Gils... actually the whole concert) ... then proceed with 4, 5 and so on, of course, please don't miss the Tokyo Dome concerts... you'll then understand why they are still adored and admired both by fans and fellow artists even after more than a decade. I can't help but mentioning that I really love the opening songs of SWC 5 :) anyway... if you have time, since you're a huge fan of Taemin (same here!)... please watch his solo concerts as well... no need to do a reaction video, just do yourself a favor and enjoy and appreciate his brilliant performances. He's just the most mesmerizing artist, the best performer ever!

As a long time Shawol, SHINee is one of the best live groups to listen to and one of the best SHINee performances is 'Like A Fire' LIVE during their SHINee's World tour in Seoul. It has some of the best vocals in any SHINee performance I have ever seen and listened to and it really shows the vocals of all the members.

Sherlock clue+note it's because Sherlock is the combination of Clue and Note, two different songs. Hehe they call it a hybrid song, like the best of each song. I see Shawols mentioning the live performance for Sherlock and I must agree with them that after watching that your view of the song changes in a very positive way. First time I heard Sherlock I thought this is a good song, 2md n 3rd listen I started to understand why Shawols kept talking about it and at that time I did not listen to Clue and Note separately and then I saw the live performance and Minho stepped out and started whispering and my heart stopped and then Jong with the "wowowowow" and I flat lined. I could not believe it was the same song. Shinee's live performances are really on another level..
