Mark explained it like this. The message they are trying to send us, the fans, is that there is a Tiger Inside all of us, like a wild side of us and we should let it out. And during Baekhyun and Taemin's bridge part, it kind of conveys that message well. "The key is inside of you" meaning show the tiger inside you and escape the cage that you have let yourself in. They don't want to be tamed like Taeyong said in the first line he had: "dont try to tame me anymore". This also shows when they say "dont tie me, tie me, up". Also, they are being provoked, Kai sings "I wont bite you if you let me be, I bring out my teeth when you get on my nerves", there are more examples such as this one throughout. Then Lucas comes in and goes "So bring it on, bring it on", so they kinda said f it and let loose lol. And I think on that last rapping part with Taeyong and Mark they're saying how they have escaped saying "everybody's after me" Basically, let the tiger inside you out, and don't let anyone tame you, let people know that you have a limit and you have this wild side if you are being provoked. There are probably more examples of this in the lyrics throughout the whole song so you guys should comment more or correct me if I'm wrong please. Hopefully this helped you understand the song as a whole :)

I felt the EXACT same way with this! (and most people do luckily!) SuperM has so much potential, but it's hard to unleash all of that in a single song, but this song DID IT. Lyrics, choreo, vocals, rap, instrumental, composition (holy shit three different parts in a chorus???? and it's all melodic??), visuals, styling. EVERYTHING came together. I feel most people are hypercritical of SuperM because there's really high expectations, but now that it actually met (and slightly exceeded) those expectations, I really don't know a better release this year. About the general opinion, most people are really positive about the song, but there is a loooooot of backlash that they need to crawl back from with the previous release 100. I hope it's able to spread in the end
