At that time, among the 2nd generation, there were great groups like BIGBANG and Super Junior, SS501 but TVXQ with five members was incredibly impressive. i think they are the most underrated idol group these days. it's sad that they're not mentioned as actively by kpop fans these days. I more like this than the newest kpop music right now that have a lot of auto tune and a lot of filters to idol voice. here you can hear their actual voice without any auto tune and any filters. Just talent! The song is carried by their voices and not by the background hyping beats

FYI Rising Sun Japanese version is one of FAST FURIOUS 4 OST. Actually I got fall in love to Rising Sun from the 1st I knew. I like the music, the vocal, the lyrics, the MV, and the performance.

I think we can consider it one of the songs that is definitely part of the “transition” of sound from the first to the second generation of kpop and I believe that this is one of the reasons why it is so remembered to this day! If you allow me a comment a little “outside” the main reaction, I would like to see your reaction to a song by Shinhwa (predecessor group to TVXQ in SM) because incredibly I think you might like some songs like This Love, T.O.P and maybe even Yo!

Jaejoong or Hero is the blue print for a lot of SM idols that followed. They really hated losing him so you will see a resemblance to a lot of SM artist most notably Taeyong from NCT . But that’s ok love them both
