Rising Sun was actually used as part of the soundtrack in one of the Fast and the Furious movies. Hearing Rising Sun playing in the background during an intense car chase scene was honestly so fitting.

'Rising Sun' was when I became a fan of TVXQ (5), can't believe it's 18 years ago (Sept 2005). 'Magic Castle' (also a fav) is on my Christmas list. Still a fan today, and still buying their stuff. Thank you for a brilliant reaction xxx

Rising sun is the song that made me stan TVXQ... So immersive, dramatic and beautiful. However, now I was thinking that they were teenagers in this video :D it's somehow hard to believe. This was the song that launched them into superstardom, they where already stars at this point but this song catapulted them into the top position of the kpop scene. They genuinely launched the second generation of kpop and helped usher in the new wave of kpop idols, alot and i mean alot of people are big fans of them. Even newer kpop groups when i look back they all have this thing yhat always and forever reminds me of tvxq, especially when they do intense choreography that was what TVXQ was specifically known for. If you by any chance wamt to check out there sister group a group which i hold near and dear to my heart i would suggest CSJH The grace. vocally the best SM girl group ever and thats a big thing to say because sm has girl groups with major vocal abilities.

This. This was my first KPop. Even before 2NE1 and Big Bang. This is also my favorite TVXQ or as I knew them at the time: DBSK song. I was a sophomore or Jr in high school, so 05-06. Looking back, Max would have been my bias, Hero would have been my wrecker or even bias 2 because those two were one and two for me- they came up and I swooned. U-Know would have been a bias wrecker for sure. I use to know this choreography, I made it my mission to lean it.. or at least that chorus. This song still slaps to this day for me. I still know all the words and that says something when I remember the lyrics and/or part of the choreography after all these years. Max’s high notes, hit it King. While I do love to listen to the TVXQ- Max and U-know duo, the OT5 is where I really go. Moonbyul went on Hero’s cooking show, I forget the name. And being a TVXQ fan she knew exactly who he was but played it really cool. Hero was surprised how much younger them him Moonbyul is as TVXQ debuted when Byul was in middle school I believe.
