HONEST REVIEW: 13 THINGS I DON'T LIKE with My TIGGO 8 PRO!!

1. Fuel consumption here in Lapu Lapu is over 15 L/ 100 Km due to the very slow stop and go traffic 2. Correct but getting used of it 3. Update was done by Chery Cebu for free and now the unit has the auto lock system. It took them 6.5 hours to do it as they didn’t know how to do it. Hehe. 4. Donut spire tire is still better than nothing. In Europe most cars only have a tire repair kit and this is even worse. 5. Only English speaking countries UK US wise the AM PM. Time rest of the works use the 24 h time display. 6. Only the US use PSI wall the rest of the world is metric and bar. That’s why they used bar 7. Most of the world use L/ 100 km 11. Auto hold is released after a short push on the accelerator. Easy and simple once you know it 13. Very correct. They should not put Arabic texts on the mirrors for the Philippines. Ridiculous! So every person is different and like or dislikes different things and as you said. No car is perfect. What I dislike at my 8 pro are: The aircon who is not powerful enough The indicator handle who returns to fast to his zero position The single led lights in the front who are not strong enough in high beam The lack of fog lights and not be able to put them afterwards like on the PHEV The skipping of the voice command for the Philippines, big bummer ! The sunroof even when closed completely, who warms up the interior too much. 195 HP should always comes with a 4 x 4 as the front wheels spinning too hard when accelerating fast. The not be able to switch off the different positions ( relax, standard and comfort mode ) of the driver seat. Useless feature. The ventilated seats who only works on the bottom of the seat and not on the back where you sweat the most. The useless heating seats for the Philippines ( better skipped that than the voice command) The almost never working start - stop system for fuel saving. The standard delivered carpets who are not fitting correctly and who are of poor quatilty. The very poor owners manual who is so far from complete nor correct on many issues. Real bummer ! The 72 K Pesos extra to pay when buying a unit in Cebu ( compared to Manila.) so called for shipping and handeling. Something they never mention on the official internet site or any road test in KZbin. All by all it’s a nice car. It drives good and for his price it’s oké and very complete. Anyway much more complete than most competitors from Japan or South Korea who are much more expensive. I’m still happy I bought it and I hope I won’t need the 7 years warranty ever.

Nice… this is what I’ve been waiting for, yun limitations or downside ng unit! How I wish we know if these are also the same with the other variants (aside sa power tailgate not closing kasi manual tail gate yun e) not sure pa rin!

Good day sir. Baka makuha na namin this thursday (Jan.26) yung 2022 Tiggo8. The unit is 2nd hand with a 3K kilometers in its odometer. Sa 2nd hand car dealer namin sya nakita sa may Pasig. Iba rin yata variant nito kasi wala sya sunroof at 360 camera. Sana hindi ko magsisi sa Tiggo8 since ang first choice namin is the 2023 Xpander Cross, mas yayamanin kasi looks ni Tiggo8 at jampacked sa features.

If no sunroof/moonroof, it’s the LUX variant. We got Lux EX variant, bought second hand, too, at less than 2k odo, but with moonroof and 360 cam. Honestly, it’s sooo comfortable and I don’t feel comfortable in other cars anymore at the same price point. But yes, same dislikes as mentioned in the video about the unit haha

Sa suspension in my honest opinion is quite ok, I can't say it's the best but enough to have that comfort feel even sa rough road na meron tayo.. (alam mo naman dito sa Pinas.. lol). In terms of outside noise, quiet sa loob kaya lagi tulog pasahero ko.. Lugi driver lalo pag nag adaptive cruise control ka!, baka antukin ka lalo... he he

Most hated would be Chery tigo branding. Since may stigma sa chinese, and doesnt exude luxury. Pero features panalo tlga, if major brands cguro naglabas nito with same specs and price point bebenta ito ng sobra.

Dens, thanks for this content. Ask ko lang meron din ba kayo naririnig na slow ticking sound sa engine after a cold start then nawawala rin after mejo mainit na makina? Could it be the fuel injectors? Using 95 octane in my unit naman.

Meron ako nadidinig bro if you are outside.. Coming from cold start I think its normal for the engine to do some clearance adjustment to align kasi galing sa cool down na matagal.. It's like a machine doing its self calibration. I'm also usign 95 octane all of the time paps... 🙂

i think the unit of tiggo 8pro in the philippines is same as in Middle east, kaya may arabic writing.

Napansin ko rin na walang icon sa dashboard kung naka lock na ba or hindi ang Tiggo 8 Pro at wala rin makikita sa mismong doors kya lagi dapat ipress yung lock button sa driver side door.

malamang nga paps... di pa pwede user update still more on dealer maybe due to warranty.. Anyway I got a schedule from my dealer for the system upgrade for the speed sensing auto lock.. :-)

looks like bro yng mga unit na ship sa Phils is same sa mga na ship sa middle east.. I also watched some vlogs from middle east. Even ang language niya is naka default sa arabic once nag reset ko or nagpalit ng battery. If dumami cguro market dito possible it will be customize based on Philippine market.

kung sakto lng sa garahi mo may sensor kasi yan sa likod di mag open kapag may nakaharang.. Pag nasa sayo ang Key fob at nakatayo ka sa likod dapat umatras ka pa para ma sense ng sensor na walang tao before opening..

Meron kasi ako na basa sa post ng Tiggo 8pro group regarding sa warranty, meron lang specific parts na covered sa warranty, at hindi lahat as mentioned sa ibang vlogs na bumper to bumper yung warranty. D nga daw kasama sa warranty yung turbocharger, gaskets etc... ? Ano po masasabi nyo d2 sir? Interested kasi kami d2 sa T8Pro. TIA, and More power to your channel!

Hi Ace just would like to get back to you about this warranty concern, just attended the Chery club orientation this morning and a lot of things were clarified, may mga items na di covered ng warranty mostly mga consumables and yng mga pwedea damage like glass, etc.. Yng gasket part ng engine yng kaya may warranty for engine parts. Yng turbo charger its not part of the engine kaya di yan kasama.. Pero overall I can say Chery is offerring a better warranty than other brands.. Sa 3 years free PMS pa lng ok ka na.. 😁
