Knowing dart zone, the muzzle is a separate piece that should be easy to remove and replace with a 3d printed part. The stock attachment lug could be remedied by some old school modding. If the community is willing to invest in stocks made for that lug, then it should stay. I'll most likely do some cutting and solvent weld integration work to convert one to nstrike lugs.

It feels a little weird seeing the Stryfe dethroned as the go-to flywheel blaster (though holding that title for so long is still impressive, and the Stryfe remains a solid blaster even with the Spectrum on the market). I got a Stryfe on Black Friday, and I love it, but I'm also happy to see Dart Zone giving Hasbro some really stiff competition. Side note, wrist check request? I'll guess it's a Seiko. (Looking at the watch you happen to be wearing is honestly a big part of the fun for me, so I appreciate your humoring me with these)

If you actually looked into the internals of Nerf blasters, then you will notice that Hasbro have been stifling the performance of their Nerf blasters on purpose for years. Doesn't matter if they are the biggest name out there. All that meant is that Hasbro had a good marketing and legal team. They could have given us really good high-performance blaster from the start, but their greed and meddling lawyers held back their engineers' innovations. As a result, foam dart blasters were never taken seriously by any over the age of 10. If you want proof then continue reading what I wrote below. Otherwise, continue being an ignorant fanboy. ================================ For example, they had direct plunger blasters well before the yellow N-Strike line in 2003, yet they chose to go with the inferior indirect plunger system for the majority of their blasters in that line until the Elite blasters came out in 2012. Only then, did they go back to the direct plunger system. Only a few pre-Elite blasters like Longshot and Firefly had direct plungers. Interestingly enough, plunger tubes got smaller after the Longshot came out. Some even have holes put in them on purpose by Hasbro. When you patch the holes up with tape, you get a noticeable boost in performance. Not only that, very few Nerf brand dart blasters when modded can reach the fps range of a modded Longshot. Basically, they could have easily given us Rival level performance any time they wanted, but they chose to trickle out their products to milk our wallets. It's called Planned Obsolescence. This year's Elite 2.0 line is even worst. None of them were innovative and used the same design from the past, but with vastly inferior plastic. Maybe you should do some research before mindlessly defending some greedy corporation.

I managed to feed them with the nexus adaptor pretty well but it takes a dozen or so trigger pulls to push the dary into the flywheels, I glued a piece of broken hanger to make it shoot half lengths just fine.

The whole “big number mean better!!” Mentality is hilarious. The 16-bit wars were based on it too, but that was at a time when the public understood very little about microprocessor architecture in general. Nowadays advertising the bit-rate of a game system would be silly and redundant. Advertising the number of “pieces” in a blaster set with lots of plastic parts seems even more idiotic, but apparently there are parents that go by that. Haha. I’ve recently gotten back into nerf, and I bought myself an Aeon pro. I was shocked at how much better it performs than any nerf gun I’ve ever had. I’ve been playing with nerf guns since the 90s, and it started as a nostalgia trip, now I’m genuinely back into them for multiple reasons, I love the engineering and manufacturing process that goes into toy weapons. Anyway, thanks for all the great content: I love my spyra LX and my Aeon Pro, I’m searching my attic for some vintage nerf blasters. I’ve got a purple and grey chain-fed gun up there somewhere:
