I have one. Love it! Did the metal center drive shaft, motor mount, front CVDs, motor heatsink, and sway bars. I also have a TT02 rally, and its great but the Fazer is better. Especially out of the box.

Additional con, it will start to rust in the wet. After I drove in wet dirt every screw that was in contact with the dirt started to rust. Body pins, steering ballheads etc. were rusty. I also had to rebuild the rear right bearing, because it was only moving with some force. Btw. I run mine with a 3000kv brushless combo. It rips with 2s and with 3s it is almost too much - if you're going to drive it Rally style and don't want to go for top speeds.
@bigbristv7 ай бұрын
I really appreciate the info. Just came from ripping it on 3s in the street. Does 48mph easy and shreds tires. On my second set. Planning on keeping her dry, but when she does get "a wash" I do make sure to dry then lube everything. So much fun once you get used to driving it. 😁

It is definitely fun, especially with a gyro. I use a Radiolink R7FG receiver with a build in gyro.

@@Dreiviertel isn't it amazing how a little help from a gyro make driving this thing that much more fun? I wasn't having a great time with it in the beginning because I like driving full throttle all the time 🙃

@@bigbristv my pleasure, power hobbies stocks them under their name so if you find the rally tires in stock order and you get them next day on regular shipping in the BRX. You should get the tarmac tires 1st and maybe the chunkier dirt ones too.

@@bigbristv Tires are the most important piece of the suspension puzzle to solve. I am a MTN biker too, it's all about the tires. If they aren't correct you're F'ed and things won't be fun. As an RC racer off and on road I know it all too well.

Looks so plush! I am so tempted. As for the TT-02. It is a great platform to tweak. So many after market parts. But if you want something in the similar quality bracket, I would skip the TTs and go XVs. Night and day. Cheers!

“Handleable” lmao 🤘 . Thanks for the thoughts, Ive been looking for thoughts videos but nobody has talked about it like you have. Throttle control training is a must when trying to drift. Looking forward to more videos! Heavier oil will make it slide out easier on loose surfaces, softer oil will give more grip. Does the sway bar kit come with options like soft medium hard?
@bigbristv7 ай бұрын
Yes, yes, and yes 😅 I really appreciate your saying this man. Drifting a 4wd/AWD does take serious throttle control, especially w/o gyro assistance. Also, the sway bar kit comes with 3 levels. I show it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJu5opykbt2Mqcksi=cHHZgP8SDDSTIEdg
