Honest Review: Curlsmith De-Frizzion Dryer with XXL Diffuser on Curly Silver Hair | Joli Campbell

My honest review of the Curlsmith De-Frizzion Dryer with XXL Diffuser, a side-by-side comparison with my hair dryer and Black Orchid Diffuser. Does it get my stamp of approval for silver hair? Is it worth the money? Does that diffuser work better than the Black Orchid diffuser? All those questions answered plus details on heat and technical specs of the dryer.

I got a black orchid for my dryer but sadly it didn’t fit. I had it for 15 years and my husband uses it too. So I decided to get a new hairdryer, which turned out to be the Curlsmith Defrizzion dryer. I was very pleased to find out that the black orchid fits on the Curlsmith dryer. Now, I’m getting the best of both worlds with a new dryer and being able to use both diffusers.

Thanks for this video. I was planning on getting this dryer, but after seeing how it worked for you I’m having second thoughts. I have fine wavy/curly hair and I’m concerned about the frizz issue.

You’re welcome. I debated doing the review because I was struggling and I realized that was exactly what you want to know if you have a similar hair type. I’m likely going to have to replace my dryer soon it is getting old so hopefully I find one we can all use. I will also say steer clear of the Shark dryer it is way to hot in my opinion.

I didn’t even check that, but I bet it would fit especially with the Snozzle Pro adapter. Also, I’d say look at the T3 dryer, or a Hot Tools, depending on your price range.
