I have been doing Noom for 10 days I have lost 3 pounds. Feel more in control, less confused. Coach is supportive and it is actually quite an easy programme of being sensible and no food is banned. Get some weighing scales, make packed lunch - it’s pretty empowering and my gallstone pains seem to be easing with eating low fat, less processed ❤️ doing this for a lifestyle change not a quick fix. If I love half a pound per week that is 26 pounds in a year, If I lose 1 pound per week that is 52 pounds. I am fed up of yo-yo diets and deprivation. Have to say so far so good for me and I am a 48 year old peri menopausal woman with an under active thyroid, hypertension. Previously for past 4 years unable to lose any weight. I feel healthy and positive with this app.

Been on Noom for about two weeks started at 232 and today I way 221 that is 11 pounds off myself. I have to say it does work but here a thing all you have to do is micro manage what you eat.

I wish they would step up the food diary for android. I dont really eat packaged food amd cook all my meals (especially during quarantine lol). Android users are paying same as IOS users, it is not fair :(

I just got done working with a crazy-expensive nutritionist for the past half year and have been considering trying Noom as a cheaper alternative. Would have loved to see more about how the app worked -- like the meals you made, what types of habits or changes it suggested for you, if it told you types of exercises to do, etc. But all the same, I'm happy you found that this worked for you! May try it myself.

OPTAVIA is about 300 a month BUT you will start to lose weight within 4 days.. you'll lose inches weekly but the fuelings are to be eaten every 2-3 hours four times a day and then you need a lean protein green vegetable meal

Check out lose it. I only paid 20 bucks for the year and it helps you track your calories and activity level. It also has a pretty cool social side and some useful articles etc..

@B Kandy yes, it is very helpful if you are willing to do the work. It requires 10 mins or so per day and focuses on teaching about the psychological battle of weight loss along with practical behavioral change. I have lost 9 pounds so far and if it weren't for the app I probably would've gained it all back. The coaches check in weekly and your group is there to interact with but requires effort on your part to engage with them. I have been using 10 weeks now and am 100% sold. My grandfather has lost 100 pounds using Noom. The only thing is, if you're not going to take it seriously and do the work, you may as well not do it. It has to be a priority in your life. But that could be said about any plan really.

This is a prime example of the worst advice you could give someone. For start, 2016 was 3 years ago....everyone's body changes over time. Some people lose, gain or stay the same. Just all depends on whats going on in their lifestyle at that time. The Water Fast I did was NOT for weight loss. If you actually watched those videos you would have seen why I decided to do a water fast.... I cared less about losing weight during those 10 days. Inevitably, when you don't eat you do lose weight, which I can't control...the before/after video was simply showing the effects..... When it comes to creating a healthier lifestyle, most people will have their ups and downs. Not right to shame someone when they are trying learn, adjust , and overall improve their healthier lifestyle choices. It's all trial and error until you find what works for you long-term. If I decide I want to continue to try to find the best schedule and balance for me & my body type, that is perfectly ok. I will always want to keep trying to achieve my personal goals, before I ever decide to quit. Quitting is NOT in my DNA.
