You have to press the on off button and when you hear a ding then you tell it to command read a message or call somebody I have the exact same one and I love it

Say hello blue parrot, and then when prompted say voice command, I setup with Google on Android phone, and then just tell it who you want to call. Working great for me. Sound quality of the 550 is Awesome

Been having issues with mine. One edit my buddies can hear me. I can be talking for an hour straight. Then all of a sudden out of nowhere, they can't hear me. I just shut my headset off and restart my phone and then they can hear me again for a while. Then the same issue happens again. Other times it's just so spurious and random. But, during this whole time, I can hear them just clear as day and fine. I don't know if I got a loose wire in the microphone or what.

@@jaimenh77 Did firmware not fix it completely plus lose the a function of have one headset for two devices and that's why I bought the product to fill that inche, other was better products.

The 550 Is not all it's cracked up to be it's heavy and a cap helps with that and I had two both tight on my head on totally unbearable. Works ok but not a leap forward in my option. Tech is moving fast they may have come up with something better. Need a device that has the ability to works on two devices at the same time. This worked until firmware, and replacement does work with Win 10 as a Microphone for both phone and win10 computer. Maybe I'm missing something but not an option so far had it for a year now.

Can anyone please explain how to update the 550?? My mom has been having major issues with her headset and the last update she did a couple of months ago, didn't seem to work. Now when I plug in her headset to my PC to try to update it, the program doesn't recognize the device and to clear up any confusion. My PC runs better than hers on windows 10 with a gtx 1070, i7 etc. So I don't think it's a compatibility issues

I believe that there is a an app from blue parrot you can download that I believe supports the voice command.. Not sure if that's the problem for you. I have the 450 but seriously thinking I want the 550..thanks for the review!
