I have the SU-V gun version and I love it. (The SUV version is a bit shorter, but still amazing for starting charcoal and fire pits.) This is not a toy. It is a well built serious piece of equipment. Grillblazer customer support has been excellent the few times I contacted them. Top notch product from a solid company. I highly recommend it.

I got the grill gun over 2 years ago. I remember it was on Kickstarter and I backed it. I had to wait 6 months for it on the production line. But it was well worth the wait. It’s absolutely awesome. It was half as cheap then but it’s doubled in price. After Kickstarter campaign. Thanks for the honest good review Tom

I'm definitely in the market for a new fire-starting implement. Currently I'm using a standard kitchen torch, the kind you finish off a creme brulee with. This kind of torch scares me a bit, and the electric ones are impractical for my setup. Thanks once again for a brilliant video! I'm looking forward to some more Akorn Jr videos if they pop up, loving mine even if it has been a struggle to maintain stable temps.

I love mine, but it's easy to put it into safety low power mode when lighting charcoal. I point it too far downward. I've had to work to learn the limits.
