I used to have a Moleskin sketchbook but I didn't really like it because, as you said, it's not great with markers. I prefer the Ohuhu sketchbook but the Moleskin one should work really well with coloured pencils as the yellow tint brings out the highlights more than ordinary white paper. Glad that you seem more cheerful in this video! Loved the drawing of an eye and the pretty girl! Hope you're doing well!

Respect for testing the Sketchbook Art and not the regular notebook with super-thin paper. Have you tested the Watercolour Notebook (200 gsm. paper)... esp. have you testet with markers and watercolour in that?

Having a stack of regular blank Moleskines (not the Art version) from discount stores / unsold goods shops like TkMaxx, I am not sure if those are different in paper quality from the art ones (they do such a poor job of telling you stuff like that and argue the purchase of one over the other), but the regular ones are bad even for sketching in graphite on. Just writing in them is trash because it immediatelly goes on the other side as pressure made marks, and graphite is visible on the other side. If I didn't care about this, I'd take 4 printer papers and fold them in half. I don't trust Moleskine, at least not the regulars, especially for the RRP, but even for the discounted bargains.

I absolutely disdain moleskin journals and sketchbooks! Not the paper in them, it's the fact that the Black coating on the covers peels and flake off after awhile.
