The bfg would be the biggest nerf blaster in history if that’s they actually do it correctly, and if it would be working, definitely the heaviest. The 3D printed model was almost 40 to 50 pounds iirc. What would it even fire? Just a giant ball???

I feel like between the Needler and the Gelfire Nerf is putting a lot of R&D into AEGs. Could be a sign for the future.

My only disappointment with the Nerf Halo line is that they didn't seem to want to use non-Elite ammo. The Mangler seemed like it would have been better as a Mega revolver, so you wouldn't need that shroud covering the dinky Elite drum. And the Needler could have been flinging Rival rounds like a Perses. Open up the top to reveal a hopper for pink Rival rounds, use the close to trigger the re-illumination of the shards like that one side flappy-panel does. You could probably fit at around 10 rounds in it, and it would mirror the reload from the game somewhat. Without the Elite drum, you'd need flywheels, but you could probably fit them at the barrel and mold the shell around it to look more like the in-game model's barrel.

I think pink hyper balls would have been a great ammo for a needler. Those needles were so annoying in the game, and hyper seems like an appropriately annoying ammo.

FPS readings aren't that surprising considering it is a speedswarm inside; Dart Tag blasters weren't high performing monsters when unmodded, after all

I think that you hold it by shooting the trigger with the middle finger and index through the hole above it. P.S. I got mine a couple days ago and that's the way I find it comfortable.

I'd love to paint this up to match a bit more of the sheen seen on covie weapons, but the masking for this has me pretty intimidated, and I've never painted a blaster before. I'd love a guide, get this display piece up even better

Imagine tripping with a needler, impaling yourself on the spikes, then exploding. Not a fun range day... Like, Kentucky Ballistics 50-cal kind of unfun. This thing is definitely the best "adult oriented" thing hasbro has put out recently. It's definitely gonna look good in the gamer room, though I wouldn't be surprised if I picked it up from the stand to punish a friend teamkilling me for the sniper

Your needler is hitting a little light, they have been getting pretty much nerf elite average (around 70 fps), im gonna mod mine, but i need to get some other stuff done first xD
