Aspyn I've been watching since 2015 and I am so proud of how you and your content have evolved and matured. Moving away from showing your sweet girls was the best thing you could do for them as a mom and you've never had to rely on them for content. I respect you so much for that. Much love from Wilsonville Oregon

I definitely agree sharing a pregnancy/baby online is different from sharing a kid. Now that my daughter is a year old and turning into a toddler, I am definitely seeing the difference. She has her own personality, and is turning into her own little person. I’m rethinking even sharing pictures of her on my personal Facebook.
@emilyyann17 Жыл бұрын
I’m in the same boat! I have personal FB and IG accounts, private and with very little friends/followers, and now that my daughter just turned one, I’m really cutting back on posting her. I want her to have that autonomy over what is shared about her online. It’s a hard decision. I want to update family and friends who don’t live near us, but social media just isn’t the place to do it.

2-3 has been the best transition for me! My older two are similar in age to Cove and Lola and my baby is almost 4 months. So, all very close in age! But! My oldest two literally entertain each other all day long and my baby is just along for the ride! It's seriously been the best! Doooo it!

It definitely makes sense to be sad. I remember you and Parker mentioning that even though this is your job, these vlogs are also for y'all and great ways to look back on memories of your family, and it's probably just difficult changing what the videos are of since the girls aren't in them. At the same time, your decision to not show them is completely understandable and respected and obviously the best thing for your family in the long run. It's just a transition period right now, but you're finding your flow again! We're all here to support you and watch your videos whatever they may be 🤍

As a Southern California resident my whole life that lives very close to the beach, a little more inland is for sure the better option. And I’m not talking miles and miles but 2-5 miles in, there are way better home options with more land. Being so close to the beach means your house is also sooo close to other people’s homes. It gets to feel very claustrophobic. Also California summers near the water are horrendous. So many tourists. I know you guys visit balboa island a few times a year for short amount of time, but living in that environment all the time can be hectic if you are the type of person who likes their space from others, it might not be enjoyable. Maybe that’s just me because I’ve lived here my whole life 😂 it’s not a fun feeling like you live on top of others and others on top of you. Just some insight if you cared to know!
@kc4948 Жыл бұрын
It definitely depends on the person and their priorities! I’m a native Californian and would hate to live more than a mile from the water. 😅Being able to walk to the ocean increases my happiness so much!

2-3 was honestly an easy transition! My older two are besties and the baby is so chill and go with the flow. Once I had my third I truly felt in my heart that my family was complete and it made the decision to be done really easy
@ambermoore7866 Жыл бұрын
I have an almost 7 yr old, 4 yr old and 1 yr old. Going to 3 was easier than 1 or 2. There was just something so different about it the third time. There was confidence, peace, and just joy. I didn't get postpartum anxiety the third time. And it felt like he just fit right in. The older boys loved their little brother. No jealousy. It was really wonderful. ❤️ I want to add, i think age gap plays a really big role in how easy/hard it is. If your kids are all really close, it's going to be hard! I've got almost 3 years in-between my boys and that made it really easy!

I have 3 kids (3 under 3) and to be honest it’s a lot but also not. Very mixed feelings. There are times when I wish I only had 2 because it would be easier but also I love the dynamic of 3. Mine are so close in age though and that has its own pros and cons. Only person who knows if you should have more kids is you! You know your current children and your family dynamic. No wrong decision. Pros and cons to every number of kids and every age gap. Only you and your husband know what’s right for your family.

It’s so weird to see the differences in where you live. Like I live in az and get seasonal depression in the summer. It’s miserable and you don’t want to be outside at all. So fall coming is soooo exciting to me because we can finally enjoy life haha
@amberleden Жыл бұрын
Honestly my transition from 2-3 was better than 0-1. It was chaotic but that’s because my second and third were super close in age. With the girls being older, I think adding a third for you would be even smoother with the age gap and honestly coco will take on such a super helper role if she hasn’t already! My oldest who is now 6 complains about her sisters but yet is also the first to tend to their needs or tell me what they want!
@Christine.Baraka Жыл бұрын
It's funny how it's the opposite here in TX, I cannot WAIT for it to be fall because it's literally too hot to be outside rn. 100+ outside every day. But I came from the Midwest so I know that impending doom feeling of a snowy winter. I still like a hot summer better than a bitterly cold winter.

My transition from 2 to 3 was incredibly easy - BUT - my big kids are 5 and 9 years old, and my youngest is currently just barely 6 months old. So the big kids easier understood that baby sis needs mama, and they either need to be patient & wait a few minutes for me, or ask dad for help (or in the case of my 5 year old, ask big brother for help)

We have 3 kids. It’s wild but you do find your groove eventually. It’s also okay to grieve the fact that your vlogs are looking different now because you don’t want to show your kids. That was something that at the time was fun to do, but now maybe not as safe because the world has gone sideways. And one last thing, it feels like your heart is already in California. I sense the dread you’re feeling with possibly going through another cold season. Long cold winters are not for everyone. We had friends who moved from Canada to Florida because their hearts were in that place and they’re the happiest they have ever been. Their 3 kids adjusted to the move and they have found friends and community over there. I’m sure at the right time the perfect place will come up for your family.

As a third born kid maybe I can offer some advice if you’re considering. My mom always told me she knew she wanted a third when she was looking at my older sisters snow boots in our entrance during one blizzard and thought a third pair would complete it. If you’re financially stable and are in the mental space for a third i’ve heard the third is (usually) a lot easier. i definitely learned a lot just by being the youngest and observing so if you’re heart is there i would say go for it!!
