Yeah Amber was a terrible girlfriend, getting pissed at him for lying while she was keeping the fact she knew he was a superhero to herself. Saving the world is a little more important than dinner with your stupid parents Amber. Also, the fact that he was new to being a hero, trying to work out how to balance his life/secret identity and almost dying over and over while STILL doing the best he can to make it work with this crazy girl.

I couldn't stand her for that. At the beginning I was rooting for their relationship, but once her petty self-absorbed side showed, I got fed up. And after rewatching the series, idk how I missed the "NLOG/Cool Girl" trope that her character was plagued with. That whole nonchalant facade she had felt flat immediately. I wish they would just make Superheroes asexual. They don't always need to be in a relationship, especially ones that are this frustrating to watch.

No one noticed because it's the next episode, and shows like this routinely have vague timelines. The whole show takes place across months, but it's only 8 episodes. We really don't know how much time is between episodes. (For example, they say that Amber and Mark have been together for 5 months.) So when the show puts in a separation between "where we you?!?" in one episode and "I've known for weeks" in the next episode, it can be difficult to realize that those events are only 1 day apart.
