Your welcome! Thanks for tuning in and leaving a comment Tim! 😀 Great to hear from you!

I’m curious about using the torpedo level rather than using relative measurements on the van. I mean, there seems to be a pile of variables that would render using the torpedo level in this circumstance inaccurate. Floor level, suspension, tire pressure, body stance, door mounting and door hardware action.

So true, @5:02, we see a level being used, assuming it was used properly, the van and/or the van door was not level, so the top rack looks totally out of whack

Thanks Matthew, I appreciate it! How do you go about storage in your business?

@@handymanjourney I've got a small Subaru hatchback that I'm using to carry all my tools and materials around. It's filled to the brim. I mostly use Milwaukee's Packout system to help keep things organized. I need to periodically clear out the car, re-organize my tools and materials, and put everything back in. Can't wait to have a truck/trailer/van one day!

That's cool that you are using a Subaru! What's your next plan? Do you want to get a truck and trailer or a van?
@matthewthehandyman74062 жыл бұрын
@@handymanjourney It's a tough choice. I think I would rather have the truck/trailer combo so that I can use the truck for personal excursions.

Ya, as a solo guy I think truck and trailer is a great choice!

Never heard of a band saw? I mean, I would have used a band saw. Quicker and safer.
@handymanjourney2 жыл бұрын
Don't have one, when would you use it during this job to make it better? Would love to hear!
@dixiehandyman2 жыл бұрын
The entire job. You wouldn't need to work that skilsaw with such finesse. It's not really designed for that. Even a jig saw would have been better.
@lightworker45122 жыл бұрын
@@dixiehandyman I agree. He has talent using his skilsaw but the best and most productive saw for this job is a bandsaw.

😂😂 sometimes it's hard to stay organized especially when your busy! Do you have any plans on building out the van?
@NunYaaBizz2 жыл бұрын
@@handymanjourney honestly not really. I just need to be more disciplined cause I have small compartments for everything, but when I'm tired which is most days I just throw everything in the van and say I'll deal with it later
