I’m not a Glock fan, not because the pistol isn’t great or super reliable but because I can’t stand the Glock idiots… Stop typing! Let me explain. I work with several young people (around 20 years old ) who smoke lots of pot and think drinking every chance they get is a great time, and they have never been to a gun store or range, have never shot any firearm yet they think the Glock is the only pistol that exists, and wouldn’t own anything else. Those Glock idiots…. If you asked 90% of these kids what type bullet would be best in a Glock 17 for home defense you would get a blank stair, as they searched for an answer in their pot smoked brain and all that was coming up was just how bad they wished they were stoned. I’m not opposed to buying a Glock, in fact I plan to buy a Glock clone in the near future, or if I run across a used Glock at the right price I will buy it. Thanks for the wonderful gun reviews Honest Outlaw.

@@brettfettbeargaming to be honest the sights being plastic I don’t really care about. There’s very few guns from the factory that I wouldn’t change the stock sights on regardless, and the plastic ones are super easy to take out and replace. I love my 19X. It just feels so balanced and shoots really flat for me. I kept everything stock but the sights. I know it came with metal sights but my eyes didn't like the size of the notch and post so I purchased some IDot sights and that fixed that problem. I do have a 34 w/ a dot which is really fun to shoot but I'm more accurate with my 19X for some reason. You did do a video as to why you won't be buying a 19X some time ago but it's nice to see a second look at my favorite Glock. I'm sure the 45 is better with the front slide serrations, magwell and MOS system but I bought the 19X because it just looks good. Would like to know who mills your 19X slide for an optic because I'd like to do that too for a SRO, ACRO, or 509T.

I really enjoyed my 19X. However, I tried my buddies M17 and ended up loving it. Bought myself an M18 and sold my Glock. Personally, all of the minor gripes I had with Glock ended up being solved with the P320. The trigger, grip/frame, mag release, slide lock, etc. Don't get me wrong, Glock is great and I'm not fanboying for Sig at all, but the M18 just ended up being better for me and I'm just happy I found what helps me become a better shooter.

Only issues I had was out of the box and the first 100 rounds. Had a few stove pipes, more than likely something I was doing wrong or ammo related. It has run great ever since. Another thing I’ve noticed is that some are either darker or lighter colored in the slides. My father-in-laws is lighter in color and I just saw one that was slightly darker than mine. The improvements on the G45 over the 19X pushed me to the 5th gen G45, which I got early on and before the MOS system was available. When I investigated upgrading to a red dot, I found that the most cost effective option (and one which gave me 2 fully operative pistols), was to go with the IWI Masada (which is almost identical to the G45 MOS, but at about half the cost), and then put my G45 into the Command Arms MCKGEN2 MCK 2.0 Conversion Kit, with a Eotech RMR, internal light and laser on it. NeoMag for pocket carry. Get the ones specifically for the Glock mags. The magnet is stronger to compensate for the plastic coating. For all metal mags, use their regular mag holders. Won't work on plastic or non-ferric mags. I also prefer the deep pocket version. Conceals better, but you can cheat the mag up a lot for range use, or if you spidie senses tell you a SHTF is about to occur. With a little practice, I'm as fast as a pouch. I love mine...

"takes the most available magazines" It should be noted that it doesn't take Gen 5 17rd magazines without swapping out the baseplates. Can be annoying if you have a 19X in the mix with other 17rd Glocks, but not a big deal since Glock sells the gen4 baseplates for like $2.

I think OVERALL the best Glock is the 26. I’m talking solely with aftermarket and potential mag capacity all the way up to 33 rounds. But can go down to 10 rounds. You can make a 26 larger, but you can’t make a 17 smaller. All Glocks are awesome though!

Looks great. One thing about the 'Glock angle' that I do like, besides recoil control, is that I never lose the front sight. Sure it may be 2 inches high if I switch from a Beretta or a Sig to a Glock, but it's immediately visible and I can correct right away. I don't know if that's at all intentional on Glock's part, or just me finding a silver lining, either way, I like it.

The Glock 19X is my duty pistol. I do Level 4 PPO work and I needed something reliable that I could use in a duty holster as well as CC and Home defense. The G19X fits that perfectly. I've only had a handful of malfunctions in the first 500 rounds all due to the range ammo (TulAmmo and Blazer) I was using. When I run quality ammo it never gives me problems. For work I need reliability over everything so a Glock was an easy choice. I love the Coyote color and the 19 round mags are great. It's my Do All Combat Pistol. I like stock Glocks so I'm not going to change anything other than maybe some different sights. For now it's perfect for what I need. I'm as accurate with it that I can be currently. Remember to train people. I would still love to see a review on the Radian RamJet Afterburner because that's a very interesting upgrade. Love your channel Outlaw. Keep up the great work.

We got one in, I liked the Flat Dark Earth, the metal night sites, and the high capacity magazine's. First time shooting I was at a friend's outdoor range. I could barely hit any of his steel targets at 15 yards. A week later I took it to an indoor range. At 5 yards the grouping was OK. But anything pass that SUCKED! At 20 yards which was the max distance of the indoor range, it looked like a machine gun way out of control shot the target. I paid $625 out of the box, sold it for $500 two weeks after owning it. The sad part is, I can shot my SIG P365, P365X, and P365XL far better than that peace of crap! And now I think I'm going to be a P365 XMacro owner very soon!

if i remember right the Glock 48 is the same thing with the 19 slide & 17 frame. Personally I don’t care for guns like the G19X or the G48 because going to the full size frame means lose mag compatibility abilty of the G19, which means you lost the ability to use mags from the most popular handgun in America. I wish Glock would make a Pistol with the G19 frame with the 34 slide. a Glock 34/19 That way you can have a G34 but with the mag compatibility ability of the standard G19. I only know one person who "hates" Glocks, he tends to simply lock on to one thing and that's it, He fixates on Sigs and tt. Lots of people that are bored and yawn about Glocks probably because they're so ubiquitous. Nothing wrong with Sigs, my Navy son just got switched from the Beretta and he says the P320 is fine, but he says that about every gun he shoots. I love my Glock 17s Gens 1-5 especially now since tons of PCCs use Glock mags and it's a fun one/two outdoor range time. Got my first 17 in 1992 and like my first pickup was a GMC about same era I may not like whatever current model of GMC the best out of every new pickup but good impression young is a bit of a tough thing to overcome brand wise. Love the channel, I'm not a great enough operator to argue with really any of your reviews that I've had a chance to shoot. Bought several guns based on the Outlaw's reviews and they're pretty spot on for me. Hard to speculate, but I wonder how reviews would go for Glock in an alternative universe if they just came out now.

I wish the factory would simply make the G45 MOS in that color...a true win-win...plus saving a cerakote job to the end user unless they want to custom do their gun..but who does that to a Glock. Pass on the 19X for me. I would still prefer to carry the G19 MOS G5 IWB. If going to OWB holster setup up, I would jump to the G34 MOS G5.

I always roll stock till the wheels fall off, from my Hondas to my Glocks and that has never failed me yet.

Excellent video!!!! Finally a video where I agree with you 110%. I couldn’t agree more with practicing to reload from magazines in the pants pocket. 19X: I love the color, I love the slide length, I love Glock’s ULTRA RELIABILITY. However I too still choose the Glock 17 for on-duty use. I just like a full sized gun under that circumstance. I NEVER mess with Glock triggers. On the 19X, I think the trigger is about perfect straight from the factory. I don’t need anything lighter in trigger pull. The Glock triggers may not be the “greatest,” but they always work when left alone and when needed during a SHTF moment. For a combat defensive pistol, I’m not going to notice the trigger pull anyway, as I’ll have other bigger concerns on my mind at that moment. Glock triggers just work and you can count on them every time, especially with the 19x. The 19X at the moment is my bedside gun with a Surefire X300 light as well. I have carried it a couple of times concealed, but it’s just too bulky for normal AIWB comfort. That’s what my 43, 43x, 48, 26, 19, 23, or 32 are for, depending on season and clothing worn for the day.
