The video can be related to the pandemic and it has Greek mythology references. The world is flooding, so Pegasus comes and take her to (maybe) the Tartarus, where the human souls are trapped and Atlas is holding the pilar that is blocking the water. She releases him which breaks the pilar, releasing the water and the souls that are trapped. Then she becomes an angel/goddess. The song is about hope because "this ain't our last dance".

The song is a relevant story the whole planet has been going through with the lockdowns and pandemic.. That's why she is walking on an empty street alone, a young girl full of dreams.. All of a sudden everything stops.. Feels drowning, whole world is sinking.. But she keeps her hopes and flies away and she lands where ATLAS holds the earth touches him and the water is released and the world is saved.. And then she can move again so does US together with whole world.. Very smart idea of the video combined with the Greek Mythology to describe our situation and finish with light and hope. As for the song, I believe is one of the best ones, this one and Katerina Duska that Greece sent in the last decade. Has international standards and a fantastic 80's retro wave style melody mixed with a modern twist.. And Stefanias voice freshness and GLOW elevates this so much.. Sky is the limit!!! So proud of Greece!! Great review as always!..

Τhank you so much for your great reaction! You look like a kind person! I think so far, Greece has the most catchy and up-to-date song. Catchy, because the rhythm of the song has influences from the 80's, something that makes it very modern for me, and timely because he talks about the pandemic and likens it to a global catastrophe. But always after a catastrophe and an end, there always comes a new beginning. Optimism for life brings a new beginning so let us all dance together even if it is our last dance on this planet. There'll always be a new beginning as it was in antiquity, and this is the reason why they were reborn in the video clip mythical heroes like Pegasus the horse and Atlanta, who held the planet earth with his hands so that it would not be destroyed.👏🇬🇷

🙏🌹❤ Stefania is transported from a contemporary streetscape to a land of legends. She comes to Atlas’ rescue while riding Pegasus. In another scene, she watches as the modern city sinks beneath the sea, à la Atlantis. ( Greek mythology) It’s not clear who Stefania is supposed to be. Her prophetic message of dancing for the last time may point towards Cassandra. Although her actions seem to unleash a series of cataclysmic events, so she could also be Pandora. Or maybe she’s a goddess overseeing this clash of the titans? The team tells us that the message of both the song and the video is that every ending is a new beginning

Also nice to see natural dancing rather than all the polished choreography from other entries. Should breeze through the weaker semi final and hopefully reach the top 10 on the Saturday at a minimum. Ps. The reason for lots of studio based ones is that Eurovision often uses the national final performances as the initial video.

The music video is actually full of symbolisms from Greek mythology and the curent pandemic. She is alone on the street due to the lockdown and the flood maybe is the virus that floods the world. The man holding the round stone is ancient greek titan Atlas who was holding the sky in his hands so that it wouldn't fall on the earth and the winged horse is also from ancient history ''Pegasus'' son of god Posidon. It's art so anyone can thanslate it the way he wants. Stefania has a great voice and she's beautiful the song is good, a great entry from Greece this year.

I really love the song, but most fascinating I think are the whole visuals of the music video, because there's so much to discover for an acient greek mythology nerd like I am. You also said that you've got this disney alike feeling and its due to the same fact: A lot of the things that are in this music video are based on these myths. The city flooding is a reference to the city of Atlantis, what is clamied to be sunken in the meditaranian sea. The "flying horse" is called Pegasus and is one of the most important fantasy animals in acient greek mythology. And finally the man holding the "blob" or rather the water on his shoulders is meant to be Atlas, a demigod, who thaught the humans how to make fire. Zeus was angry about it and so he had to carry the weight of the whole sky on his shoulders to make sure it doesn't crash onto the earth. This is also how the mountain range in northern africa got this name.
@fih23293 жыл бұрын
You're mistaken atlas for perseus. Perseus was the one that taught humanity how to make fire and zeus chained him to a mountain and an eagle was eating daily his liver. He was the demigod you're referring to. Atlas was a titan not a God that after the titanomachy and titans fall he was punished by the Olympian gods to hold the earth

Yes...I will give my interpretation too. Atlas was 'punished' or tricked by Jeus in this unfortunate never ending punishment to hold the OURANOS (sky) on his shoulders so it won't collapse on earth and destroy it...Stefania touches him with kindness and his look is one of torture while hers is soft and 'redeeming' , she delivers a panhumanism message in my view. This ain't our last dance the sun will rise again for humanity and we will be saved. All this is a dreamscape of an eighteen year old walking in the empty Athens streets during the corona global pandemic.
