Ive watched this performance loads of times, she’s an awesome vocalist. What a dead crowd though, shes singing her backside off and working the audience as much as she can and they just seem really dead. Ashraf Vanderslott A black tie gala is not the sort of event for audience participation, especially not from these particular guests. Madame Rowland was contracted to provide herself as the evening’s musical entertainment, she was not to expect the guest to entertain her. She was not an invitee, she was a contract worker. And how vulgar of her, a commoner, the hired help, to dare make “demands” of members of the aristocracy. Who exactly does she think she is? I’m surprised the law hadn’t been made aware of her actions; a swift arrest and a lofty fine were certainly in order.

Right she led up to it but never gave it lol. Kelly is a decent vocalist, her biggest problems is consistency and breathing. For all the stamina lessons she had, I don’t know why she gets so winded and allows that to interrupt the vocal. She has a gorgeous tone and actually great range (she has the best head voice in the group imo) but her execution is what keeps her in the shadows. It doesn’t matter at this point if you compare her to Beyoncé or any female in her age group, she’s not leading the pack unfortunately.

This song is difficult as hell to sing lol; to maintain that level of consistency throughout the song is a testament to her vocal ability. She practically belted the whole song, great performance
