A lot of people take this song to just mean a cock-rock type of romantic/sexy rock. But the lyrics are just so sad and desperate in how the singer feels hopeless, afar from their beloved, and just wants to escape all of it just to somehow cherish the love of a person they idealize and feel unworthy of. The lyrics can equally be interpreted to be suicidal by a heart bereived of its one true love.. Absolutely beautiful cover.
