I grew up with honey instead of syrup on my pancakes. my mom insisted it was the healthier option bc we could get it from the farmers market so I never tasted syrup until I was in high school and I went to IHOP with friends. syrup is lovely but nothing beats the honey it's just so tasty and nostalgic for me

I just wanted to thank you for doing anime stuff. Its one of the ways I bond with the kids in my family. They love anime and I try to get them cooking or at least appreciating the process and love that goes into making food, so its fun doing Demon Slayer stuff. Plus, stuff like bento boxes helps them appreciate how people eat outside of the U.S.

The pancakes look absolutely amazing with all that honey, and I'm with you Alvin I've started to prefer my local honey over syrup. And I bet this batter would work for waffles and using the second process with the honey butter in the pan the waffles would turn out spectacular.
