@Demonsta14 күн бұрын
If you think that's what's happening you must not know much about food. 😅 He's always been great at cooking, you can see it from his technique and knowledge. But the gimmick of the channel is that he cuts corners and doesn't follow the recipe so it turns out bad, because that's how most people follow recipes by fafo lmao. The food was never radioactive he just didn't have studio lighting and commenters don't know what meat from a grocery store looks like without staging and editing. You can see comments about that too in his early vids before the meme became so overwhelming that there was no point in correcting it anymore and people think it's real cause they only see raw food on KZbin videos lmao. Personally the radioactive comments were getting old so I'm ready to see what the next meme is. Man doesn't need to repeat the same couple jokes a million more times to keep this channel going.

I don’t know if you did it on purpose but with the Tiramisu the reason it didn’t become fluffy when making the cream is because you used egg yolks or whole eggs? Tiramisu cream is made solely with raw eggs, you beat the egg whites to soft peaks and the yolks until they turn pale and creamy (if you are using golden yolk eggs like I do it’s less pale but you will get a similar result) then you combine them together by folding the egg whites into the yolks and voila you have you’re cream. Also the lady fingers should be piped into a shape, as they are called fingers, not just a whole sheet put down, it did look good and I would have happily eaten a slice. Just some pointers 😊

idk about the caramel myself but tbh authentic tiramisu being so light is exactly why I like these kinds of recipes. For the longest time I wasn't a fan of tiramisu, the flavor was ok but it always felt like taking a bite out of air, and I didn't understand who would enjoy eating something with such a thin cake layer. It wasn't until I was invited to a New Years' party where our host's parents made this tiramisu with this thick and juicy cake layer that I finally grew obsessed with it. None of the store bought ones or even the ones at the bakery compare, I've tried to find a place that sells something similar for ages and nothing comes close to it. I've been thinking about that experience for years now, and I know I'll have to bite the bullet one day and attempt to recreate it myself at this point. Italian tiramisu? I just don't get it man, it's like an illusion. You eat air but it's the same amount of sugar as any other cake, at the very least I'd like it to feel like actual cake.
@NejiRaven17 күн бұрын
@LoreCatan I'm so confused by your take. Are you sure you're not confusing Opera Cake and Tiramisu? The former has the same flavour profile (custard, coffee, cocoa) but it's cake-based. There's no cake in tiramisu. It's not a cake. It's more of a trifle, if anything. It uses lady fingers which get fat and rich when soaked in syrup, so I don't understand what you mean by thin layer? You don't have to like tiramisu, it's just dessert, but your last point is odd. True tiramisu isn't anywhere near as sweet as usual desserts because only 1-2 steps take sugar and cocoa is bitter. People enjoy that because not everyone wants a sickly sweet cake for dessert. If you like your recreations, that's totally fine, but it sounds like you like cake not tiramisu.

watched this video to destress after a long day of work. Honestly the message at the end hit home for me LOL. I've been feeling so pressed for time and guilty at work for not doing as good fo a job because things have been insanely busy recently.

Perfect to put in the fucking trash. Fudge is disgusting bullshit. Brownies are supposed to be light and fluffy with a crunchy outer layer. He ruined those poor brownies.

I found your videos and shorts a short while ago but I love every single one. Your sarcasm and voice, man, I never watched these types of videos. I only watch cooking videos when I want to cook something, of course. But yours, I watch to see what you'll switch. What joke you'll make. The songs. The commentary. And if it actually turns out well. I like seeing how you evolve too. Basically, thank you for making these vids. I really adore them. And honestly, I am a bit worried for your health cause I see almost no vegetables (in most of the videos)...but it's your body, your life. So, that's all I will say, I am worried 'cause I wish you will make videos for a long time and stay healthy (even if you stop making videos), that's it. Sorry if I overreached. Again, thank you. And wish you all the best.
