I'm 79 years old and as the old song says, my "days are dwindling down to a precious few". I feel so good about passing on the chain of life to creative young talented people like these two. I love KZbin. I taught myself to play piano from KZbin. (Big bucket list item) Everyday I learn some philosophy, science, and more on KZbin. I love to feed my brain new facts. For fun, I watch some comedy clips like 30-Rock. But I think good music gives me the most comfort. For a few minutes I can transcend all my cares and worries and be 100% in the moment. I have over a 1000 saved music videos in my library. My absolute favorites are: Josh Turner, Allison Young, Reina del Cid, Toni Lindgren, and Carson McKee. Their covers are always better than the originals. When they team up, the results are sublime.

@@wildkeith what if the mic gain was turned up to pick up things from.. I mean they're only like a few feet away lol compression helps too. Josh is also a pretty good musician and bumming notes on the down beat while strumming isn't that hard. I don't think the bird sounds were added in production but this is just my theory.
@wildkeith Жыл бұрын
@@bruce_daddy Turning the gain up turns everything else up, including noise. There's only so much to push with sound to noise ratio realistically. I think they blended the bird in for fun from the on location recording. When they're talking at the end you can hear a huge amount of noise that wasn't in the main mix. That's my take at least. There's no shame in it though. Really just a warning for any aspiring musicians thinking they can copy this fidelity.
