Honey Triple Butter Soap

Hi, welcome to my channel.
Here's the recipe:
25% Virgin coconut oil
15% Shea butter
5% Mango butter
5% unrefined Cacao butter
30% Olive oil
15% Sunflower oil
5% of castor oil that would help boosting the lather.
Lye and Liquid
Please use soap calculator as a guide, I used the one from Brambleberry

1 tbsp of Honey (for easy blend, mix it with water)
1.8% Essential oils
The ones I used: Sandalwood, vanilla, patchouli and lemon.
Super fat : 6%
Cure it at least 4 weeks before use
If you use citric acid you need to adjust the amount of lye that you put in. It will eat some of the lye and increase super fat in your soap. You can google the benefit of using citric acid, so you understand better.
It is important to handle lye carefully, as it can be dangerous if it comes into contact with the skin or eyes.
It is also important to properly measure the amount of lye used in the soap-making process in order to avoid making a soap that is too alkaline.
Lye-heavy soap refers to soap that has a high concentration of lye, which can make it more alkaline and harsh on the skin. This type of soap is often used for cleaning purposes, rather than for personal hygiene.

Soaping videos never show the bar of soap in action though. How does it lather? Yes it looks pretty lined up after cutting, but I’m not buying it for pretty

Best soaps you will ever use! Your store bought soaps are not soap, they are liquid surfactants. These are natural edible oils! Fabulous for skin

@@debkeeney-cravath9887 if the store product says “soap” it’s made with saponified fats (usually tallow) and a few others, with some chemicals thrown in for sure, but still soap. If it says “body wash” or “beauty bar” then yes it’s made with surfactants and is basically the same thing as your laundry detergent. At least here in Canada where soap is classified as a cosmetic and has to be labelled according to strict rules. But that’s all beside the point of my original post ..
