I understand the frustration. I've been attacked and told I was "ruining the game" and "killing off the family" for wanting to stay in an Eve camp/town when others wanted to move to an older town. I'd understand if the Eve picked a bad spot to set up a home or something along those lines, but if people leave just to live in an older town it upsets me. Especially if I helped work on building the Eve town. So, there is definitely a rift in the community when it comes to that sort of situation.. :/ or at least that's what I've experienced.

I was born in the wilderness to two women running somewhere. And they both died too wolfs. Leaving me all alone with a cousin. So we ran untill we found a town. (Seems the people we were born too had ran along way...) it was such a messy day for the stones, I think i was hope stone.

The Stone fam was split three ways one in the Eve town one in Groot town and one here Eventually only the ones in River town survived, I tried to revive the Eve town twice but I had no luck with babies Later a leader successfully move everyone back to the Eve town

I feel like when I first started watching your channel everyone stayed in their towns but when the bell rang that was a invitation to join a bustling mega city with several different family.

Maybe towns where the well hasnt been used for a long time slowly become "decrepit" as wells are needed for all towns new and old. So buildings/pens within a radius of the well would all slowly break down

It comes in waves, I call it the Gypsy phase. It has happened a few times, as players begin to exhaust ideas of how to play they seem to want what they made in the past and seek it out. The path of least resistance.

has anyone heard of sad story of what happened to Methman I feel sorry for him passing and if anyone wants know who he is he was active player of One Hour One Life and he also was active in One Hour One Life discord I even seen him on discord a lot back during the time before he pasted away and there is memorial statue in game and I think you can craft it and we all will miss him because he helped if someone did not know something. ❤

I played as one of the last Rivers, my sister was the last woman and got killed by a bear before having any children. So 40 minutes in me and my brother were the last people living there, he helped me slaughter a turkey for him and I made him the shears he had asked for before. A lady from the jungle came by at one point looking to trade, we told her the family was dead, then my brother died and I said she could see if there was anything her family could use. Think she took us up on the offer since the radio is gone from the baby room.

I love Eve towns so much but I hardly ever get born into them. That is why I stopped playing for more than a year 😢

There were never server resets in the first place, other than during the rift era and whenever there was an update that added new biomes

I only recently started watching your videos and have never played the game. Why was it bad to be in that super developed town? what resources were missing that it doomed the family?

Each family gets a couple of iron mines near their starting area. You need iron for EVERYTHING, including making food and water. If you move to a different town far away you a) don't have your iron mines which means you have a town that looks cool but as soon as you use up all the food/water the previous family left behind you're boned, b) you are far away from all the other families which means you can't get the resources only the other families can create, and c) you leave behind your ACTUAL town that your family built up and that sucks for all your ancestors behind you. Also that town wasn't super developed at all, it was just an average town that didn't have anything special about it - it died out for a reason

I don’t understand why there’s such a big problem with someone wanting to revive a dead town. Can they not play the game the way they want to? Can they not just live their life how they choose? I would think that bringing life to a dead town would be fun and enjoyable.

I was Eve Stone and i saw this family split early on. We even tried to go back at some point, myself and other players, but apparently the Stones liked to be anywhere but home 🥲
