Everyone says “you’ll never work a day in your life if you enjoy what you do” Which is complete bullshit. Jason nails it at 11:30. Fell on hard times this year being laid off, luckily I had metalworking as a side gig to help make ends meet. It’s way more pressure trying to work, rather than enjoying your hobby when you are motivated to play. Having a typical day job to hate so you can come home to pursue your true interests are nice way to keep those energies up, yet separate. Thanks Ryan and Jason, great conversation 🙏🏼

Awesome episode. The motocross talk and drag racing . I grew up in Maryland and was 2x jr dragster champion at captiol raceway. 2006 2008. Than in 2010 I started racing motocross great child hood thanks to my dad. Raced at 75 and 80 once they used to film motorweek there.

Jason Ellis is my favorite guest. I have to check out his podcast. I think he needs to make his life story into a series movie. It’s like there is never a dull moment. Let me know when the movie is being made. I am the first to watch it. Maybe it could be like a Honeydew episode. Jason telling Ryan his life story with Ryan’s laugh and comments. Such a good idea. I mean I can’t wait to see Jason’s younger years hunting Kangaroo with his dad and Jeff who escaped from prison. I feel like with all of the trauma Jason has gone through, he could be a real asshole. But he is not. I like the way time carved him. Also his point of view, with what he knows now and what he thought then.
