I'm sitting in a room with 3 of my friends, just sitting round chatting. I put this song on 2 minutes ago and so far no one has said a word. Perfect, amazing, beautiful, glorious and stupid good is all i have left to say.

saw these guys play tonight at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago -- They were FANTASTIC live. The soul ( as in Southern) comes out in the slower songs. I could listen to Suzanne all day long, but Ben has a surprisingly beautiful voice as well. Nice job guys -- got all welled up with this song tonight :) Had a blast, and well done.

POWERFUL HONEY HONEY! I love how they sound when they go all acoustic, they sound better to me on the Joe Rogan Podcast when it's just vocals and guitar then when they have the whole band, but that is just me ;-)

EXACTLY!!

I just don't feel like the high production Nashville sound suits them as well as the folk acoustic festival guitar + violin / banjo thang. More intimate / soulful maybe?
@oblisk861310 жыл бұрын
GanjaCoyote For sure man you hit it spot on. I get why they moved to nashville but they really didn't need to with a sound like this.

Yeah that was a really good show! I don't know why people gotta be haters in the comments tho. I don't really care about some of Joe's guests, but then I just don't listen. No need to call them uninteresting or whatever. They are interesting to some of us who happen to be fans of independent music and the process of making a living as a musical act/group. Not to mention that they are just awesome! Not every episode is for everyone, heh, freakin' trolls. I like how Joe just admits that he is out of things to say in this one. He should work on the interview process a bit for his guests and prepare some good questions and stuff before hand or better yet get one of his minions to do it for him and prepare notes ;-)

If your a program director of a country music station and your not playing at least one song from this band then you should apologize for not being able to do your job.

Hmm... This is folk... Not country. There is a huge difference. I can't handle country music, it makes my soul hurt. Folk on the other hand, is fuckin epic

I just like talent and I am so sick of corporate radio forcing crap music when there is clearly good music made by people with real talent being made.
@TurkishKS10 жыл бұрын
Jules0123456789 This is bluegrass/folk, and completely acceptable on a country station. In fact, it's far more country than the country pop bullshit they play these days, and written far better than the cowboy hat wearing wannabes, who can't in the least, channel country greats of old. I'm am so in awe of Honeyhoney, and how they can make such soulful bluegrass at such young ages.
@ronnieguitar994 жыл бұрын
This is real music, the stuff you hear on country stations is crap. They would never play good music like this. Just discovered them watching xumo app on my phone. Blew me away, it was their closer, real get down song. When she took off on the fiddle, yeah.

Oh no, I don't know if I'll go with you now I got buckets of words just to hush out the sound Of my heart falling down into bits on the ground Don't know how to love you when I'm not around I sold all my clothes to get rid of your smell I smashed all the clocks that had the right time to tell me How long it has been since we parted ways? Don't know how to leave you when I wanna stay So go, go, go Go on without me now, lose me in the crowd Oh, I am so, so, slow Slow moving like a sow, words stuck in my mouth Steady the lock down and hope it will take I'm cold rushing water for the levee to break And the things that should soothe me just wear me away Don't know how to hold back what I shouldn't say So go, go, go Go on without me now, lose me in the crowd Oh, I am so, so, slow, slow moving like a sow Words stuck in my mouth Oh no, I lost track of the time that you gave Squandered the hours that I should've saved There's no turning back from my grave in the ground Don't know how to love you when I'm not around But I'll learn how to love you when I'm not around

She is the beautiful conduit that makes Nine Inch Nails get hurt by Johnny Cash (in the most beautiful way) and then the break into no… Thing… ness… Also known as nothingness... The honey is the sugar that is the topping on the life and that means joy… And” I don’t mind it at all”… I’m not mad at it (as I would say in my version)… I fucking love it. Period. Another band, called FLOATER, Will bring your mind even further… As a symbiotic “them”, bring in my mind from my Float.... honey on the tongue is a good place to start.🔥🧬💃💖🌈🦄🕺🙏🏿

Right, because the chunk actually writes all of the instrumental parts and is a technical wizard of all of the music industry. Her music is completely unrelateable unless you are or were a 15 year old girl. She's a hack that for some reason masses of teens and their moms fell for, with a cover band that ripped the motown sound to accompany her vocals.

Mainly having a mass following that makes it so no matter where I go in public, if there's music her shit music is generally playing. There are people with just as great of voices and actually support their bands instead of choosing to have their personal name as the persona for their entourage. Also what does class have to do with anything? It's KZbin, where people go to spew garbage.
