When you get a slide out, make sure you can get into the bathroom with the slide in. We found out the hard way.

Honey, I Roam I would make a list of your must haves, one of the big things for me when I bought my new trailer because I had a little tiny 19 footer with nowhere to sit other than on a dinette bench and my back was killing me. My must have was a couch and a large bathroom. I got a bonus with this new trailer, new to me. It has a slide out and it is the kitchen. I absolutely love it. It’s 23 feet. My couch lays down flat and I do have a Murphy bed. It’s so simple to deal with and I have so much living space and comfort during the day and evening. ❤

When we were looking for trailers we went to an RV show. It just caused me to want what I couldn’t have. The sales people are good at their jobs for sure cuz they almost convinced us to buy new. One thing I realized when you both were going through the trailers is that you kept saying things you would change or convert. Isn’t it crazy how they are so expensive, but still not quite right? You will find the perfect used trailer and make it your own. Best part?…. You won’t be in debt!!! ❤❤

***Trick for Instant coffee *** Disolve Instant coffee with 2-3 Tbs of water. Then add boiling water. This will cut the bitter taste. (Boiling water directly to coffee crystals may burn it and make coffee bitter)

My late husband and I owned a dozen rv’s in our life. One thing we looked for is water leaks and mildew. We once bought a fifth wheel and discovered an area in back that had a water leak and mildew. My husband was handy and replaced the rotted wood. All of our tvs did not cost more than $5 thousand dollars. We fixed them and sold them.

In the Wingham there is a bed that lives in the ceiling and when ready you pull the bed down already made and when ur up u just push the bed up to the ceiling. They are super cool and just came over from Europe this year.

I checked out the King Star truck campers at the Super Show. They are incredible and well built. Each one is custom built. New trailers are nowhere near as well made and cost so much more these days. They also depreciate 25 to 30% as soon as you drive them off the dealership lot. You have a solid plan. Best of luck with your search!

Loved the video but for future reference the Wingamm tiny rv the bed was a pull down from the ceiling. These are new to the US made in Italy and are of superior quality. That’s why they’re so expensive. And the only reason I know that is because it’s the size of an RV that I would want and I have been looking.😂❤ good luck in your search of your new home

I went from a truck camper that I loved for years, to a 2017 keystone springdale 179qbwe. Best decision, great floorplan! You'll love the comforts of a TT. Marketplace deal 10k. Good luck, have fun.

We have a wildwood 261bhxl. Google that floor plan. It’s a nice north south queen with couch and dinette. No slide. Nice bathroom and extra bathroom sink. It does have a bunk but you could convert to something else. I’m it’s has a outdoor kitchen too which we love

You girls should also look into the storages for RVS they be selling them as well or posting them for cheap since a lot of them are ppl just tired of paying for the space. I think you're making a wise decision by holding off for a used one. The new ones depreciate as soon as you buy them. Plus if you buy one two or three years old you can see how well they held up.

First let me tell one thing the dealership does not tell you and I speak from experience, once you finance the rv and you sign on that line you cannot change you mind, not even one minute after,. You are stuck with that rv, because thry made a law that says that is how it is. I am 68 years old and that happened to me, financing the rv has been the worst decision I have ever made, and I presume that same thing happens when you pay it in cash, you cannot change your mind. RV are made poorly, if look closely you can see hey put very cheap parts, and also in my case thing we're not put in properly from the factory., and that had to be fixed. Everything I am saying is true. Look up that law about changing your mind right after buying it. Good luck with everything. You both deserve the best, you both work hard for your money.

Don't rule out the murphy bed. I love mine. I have a 2022 Freedom Express 238bhs. I'd live in it anytime, if it wasn't for my 3 cats and husky. Lol

@@honeyiroam Yes, I have plenty of room to walk around and put the bed away so it makes it very spacious. You can keep the bed set up to just draw it down when you are ready for bed. I think having a bed made all the time in a rv is just a waste of space. The Freedom Express is a great brand to look at. I have a 25' but they make smaller. The issue is towing, since you two like to go far. Travel trailers sway a lot in the wind. A lot to get used to. You'll need to get a sway control and weight distribution system.

I have an Rpod 202. It is perfect for me. It has a slide out which helps make the living space. But I'm just waiting for it to break down. If you are thinking of buying a used rpod, talk, to me first. Be careful of the slides.

This may sound a bit crazy to you guys but I think you should do some research on it, have you considered an older class a diesel pusher? They’re literally built like a tank breaking down in them is not even a thing coming from a family of diesel mechanics you literally have no worries I live in one and am surprised at how many Boondocking spots I’m able to go to and the one that I’m in is only 36 foot long I originally intended on getting like a 98 to a 2007 I ended up getting a 2015 personally but I saw so many incredible class a diesel pushers for less than $20,000. If you could find a 98 to 2001 a good deal on one I’m so impressed at how much room I have in mind I have more room in it than I did in my 47 foot toy hauler like my grandkids can get down on the floor and play and maintenance is not that hard Julieta could do it easily by watching KZbin videos considering what I’ve seen her do on the channelthis might be something to look into before you make your final decision

It would be like having a luxury one bedroom apartment on wheels and of course if you get an older one you may need to do some upgrading like you did in your current one but that’s OK that’s fun to do and it’s not something like you would immediately have to do you could do it on the road as you have time. Just don’t get a gas motorhome they are not the same. And driving them is not scary either day one I was terrified day two I was a little bit better but still terrified but by the morning of the third day I had no fear anymore I was passing semi’s and everything once you learn where the middle of the road is it’s different and one of these big motorhomes once you get that groove it’s so easy to drive I don’t even have a back up camera and I back it into spots no problem

The way I look at it it's your house.... Anything under $100,000 I think you guys should get if you really love it. I mean gosh..... the average house that's a sticks and bricks cost about $250,000 or more. The housing is ridiculous but these RVs are spectacular and you can roam all over the world in it. And it's still a beautiful home. For under $100,000 😁🫶🪄✨💖
