I’m a flight attendant!! I have answers!!! You can bring your flowers through security, place them in a bin by themselves on a jacket or tshirt and they should be fine! Planes are dehydrating so ask for a cup of water from a flight attendant to put the end in if it’s not wrapped so they don’t wilt, but if not your flight is short they will be totally fine! As for the dress, ask your flight attendant when you get on the plane if there’s any way they can hang it for you, make sure to say it’s your wedding dress! If not my best tip is to get a mini hand steamed and bring that with you Incase you end up having to fold your dress! I sent you an instagram dm with this same message if you have any other questions about traveling with things for your wedding

Hey Guys! So sorry you had to change up your plans. My husband and I did as well! Mini wedding this year, the big one next year. We TOO, had to cancel our honeymoon, BUT we planned a MINI MOON! We stayed at the Enchantment Resort in Sedona Arizona! We live in San Diego, so it was an easy drive over to AZ as it would be from UT! The resort was tucked away in the iconic red rocks and it was a very intimate, relaxing trip! Highly recommend check them out! Good luck to you both, if you have Covid wedding questions let me know!

I got married June 6th and not having the wedding of my dreams that I planned for a year killed me, but having a small intimate wedding with just family made is so much more special and way less stressful. Remember it’s just a day, but it’s the day that starts the rest of your life being married to someone who makes you smile and laugh each day. Marriage is a beautiful gift from god, treasure who you spend it with, not on the day. Besides, you can always do something bigger on your one year. I hope everything starts going according to plan for you both. Weddings are very stressful, adding covid to the mix is worse! Sending lots of love to you and Don!

My family just went on a cruise to Alaska and it was literally insane! The only down side is that they only do cruises there in the summer and it's pretty much fall now. My parents went on a cruise to the Bahamas and loved every second of it. We also go to Turks and Caicos in the Bahamas every other Christmas/New Years and always have a blast! My aunt got married in Hawaii, so I don't see why you couldn't turn that into a honeymoon ;) Best of luck with your wedding and stay positive!! ... (also with the cruises: I know that COVID is still going on, but I meant when things go back to normal! Hopefully they do!!!)

My husband and I and his sister her husband and my father in law and his wife all went to Fiji last year in Sept. I was 24 weeks. It was for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was so beautiful. I would love to go back to experience more and enjoy more stuff. All I did was sleep, relax, read and eating. I really hope yall get to go to Fiji. It's breathtaking. We went to Maui Hawaii and absolutely loved it. Did so much exploring, did a fishing charter, took a helicopter ride over the volcano etc etc, the greatest trip ever!!

Honestly my husband and I did a very small wedding in front of a waterfall. Then we did a small honeymoon at the place we went on our first vaca 10 years ago. Then 6 months later, we drove to Florida. Stopping in Savannah then to Chattanooga. He took me to the ocean and the mountains. It was amazing. No matter what you do, you will have a great time.

It stinks that your honeymoon was cancelled!! I highly suggest Hawaii, the main island! Hilo has waterfalls and zip lines! Volcano National Park is beautiful and lots of hiking possibilities. Scuba diving and snorkeling too! Also the black, green and pink sand beaches are really cool!

My sis and her man went to Maine for their honeymoon! If you like seafood 🦞 and gorgeous rocky coasts, it’s a great option! 💕 I’d also suggest Iceland, if you don’t mind the cold. I went in 2018 and it’s ridiculously perfect. So happy for y’all!!

As far as your honeymoon I have a suggestion! So I am personally not married but my family vacations in Cabo San Lucas Mexico every year and at least once a year we see either people getting married on the beach or on their honeymoon. When people think of Mexico they are skeptical on wether they think its safe but we have never had any problems down there! we stay at the Villa La Estancia which is a beautiful resort located on the ocean! they are very accommodating to their guests and are always the nicest and most understanding people. it may not be Fiji but they are pretty great. I hope your wedding goes smoothly and I can't wait to see your wedding video! Congrats guys!!!

Definitely not Panama City Beach!! Went 3 weeks ago and nothing to do...almost everything is shut down. We live near Clearwater Beach and it's so much better, with so much more to do, and the location in general is just much prettier!

Look into taking a nice cruise. My sister did it and really enjoyed it. You can splurge on getting a nice suite room with a balcony and the different islands you can find really fun stuff to do together. Just an idea.

In our area, you can get married in the temple if you both have done your first endowment session already. As in, you can walk in, get married, and walk out, since the temples are not doing endowment sessons right now. The temple probably won't "cancel" your appointment, but you will want to call at least a week ahead of time to see if those requirements have changed, because I am guessing Brynley may not have her gotten her endowments yet. (I did that 2 weeks before my wedding.) Best of luck to you both! If a civil marriage is what happens now, it is okay. It will just make the temple ceremony that much more special when it happens. 😁❤️

My fiancé and i were going to do Fiji in December as well. We’re not able to do that now, but we’re going to Antigua instead. There is a resort called Keyonna beach resort and it’s private villas with plunge pools and direct beach access! Best of luck to you both! I know how stressful everything has been!

Try Nothing Bundt Cakes. I'm not a huge cake love but they are great! There is also a bakery in Rosmore that is good too. As for a Honeymoon look in the San Diego area, Torrey Pines, Carlsbad, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Del Mar etc. Can't wait to see the pictures, you'll be a beautiful bride 💗

We went to the Riu all inclusive resort in Ocho Rios Jamaica. It was amazing! You may still run into the same travel problems though. If you want tropical, maybe look into Florida? Maybe the Florida keys? I know Hawaii has still had restrictions but if not they’re another beautiful tropical option that keeps you in the States!

Travel to Cabo! It is open and if you are flying from California it is not super expensive and also right now a lot of resorts are having sales because of the financial impact that COVID had on their economy so that would be a great tropical and not as expensive and also easy to fly home if something does happen. Also tons of resorts for adults and couples!

My honeymoon for December was supposed to go to Paris and London, my fiancé and I had to change it last month and we will now be going to Mexico, keeping it someone cheap so we can eventually go to Paris. Look into the El Dorado Resorts, all inclusive and adults only. They even do have some over the water bungalows at one of the resorts in Mexico!!

So if you want donuts for the reception try Peterson’s in Escondido ( North SanDiego county) they are the best - another idea is an ice cream truck - I went to a wedding in SanDiego and they had one come to the reception and you could pick your favorite ice cream treat it was really fun! El Dorado Maroma Cancun Playa del Carmen Mexico is amazing!! It also has the huts on the water. Softest sand, delicious food, adult only resort.

If you guys are looking for a more affordable honeymoon spot I would definitely recommend Guatemala! Absolutely beautiful places to visit where you can hike volcanoes or explore natural pools and stuff like that. It’s definitely not as “glamorous” as Fiji probably but 100% worth it and their airport is opening up later this month for commercial flights!

Come to Michigan. Our scenery is bar none. The lakes and great lakes are amazing. There are tons of wineries and secluded, romantic getaways in the northern area. Lelanau or Charlevoix would be the best. So gorgeous. You would have the time of your life.
