Alon, I found this really helpful, so thank you very much. I want to use MC to explore why it is said that calibration standards should be four times "as accurate" as what they are testing. I want to test all the way from 10:1 to 1:1 and see the results. In the traditional world, there is not nearly enough data to accomplish this task. The "what if" scenario is one that did not occur but could have occurred. A "non reasonable" scenario is one that could never occur in the first place.

hey Jon, I understand that learning to code can be hard but it is the best way to run monte carlo simulations. You can try with MS Excel to sharpen your skills before using R or python.
