Strange because the Honeywell is much quieter than others I’ve heard. Try the GE from Lowers; that thing is stupid loud.

trying to find the adapter that you attached between the air conditioner and hose, it had three prongs and attached to the unit itself

I usually drain at end of summer, just to remove any water, when storing for winter

how do you remove the front cover of this unit? a plant stem 5”x .2 “ fell thru the top now i cant see it. i have to remove the front panel first, but how? it sort of moves but i might break something, so thanks for any help!

Does anyone know what to do if the this exact A/C won’t turn on correctly. Mine won’t, for some reason the touch panel on the front seems to be messing it up? The lights won’t correctly work on the from panel anymore and it won’t let me hit the turn on button, it just doesn’t want to work.

elevate your units so your HOT vent hose is completely collapsed and short as possible. clean your filters.

Wrap the vent pipe with towels. Make sure you are using the window kit to vent hot air out. Unit has 3 fan speeds

Single hose AC don't work very well, try MN14CCD.

Actually two of them do. Consumer analysis is the definitive site for air conditioners and they rated the top of the line 2019 lgvsm and new air as the very best after testing them against every other “14000” btu units. . I’ve just bought the lg and it’s fantastic. The seasonally adjusted btus of 10,000 and 9500 respectively, beats out all others. Even the whynter dual hose can’t outperform the two single hose units in any temperature condition. The real adjusted btu is the key. Not the hose.

collect the condensate and dump it. anything cold in monkey butt swampy weather will collect water, even a weak unit can pull 10 gallons of water a day from the air.
