How could I connect to a signal that doesn't have a standard connector to connect to in order to measure pulsed rf? Is there a high voltage probe set up that can pick off a small portion of the main signal to send to the spectrum analyzer? The output of the generator can be up to 500W.
@TEquipment17 күн бұрын
Tektronix has a number of high voltage probes, but we would recommend confirming with them directly and seeing if they have any probe sets that would work.

I'm just getting into this as a hobbyist so only learnt the emissivity word the other day. Can you clarify how this works with normal thermal imaging cameras and IR thermal cameras? Or am I misunderstanding completely? I want to get something that can "see" the tunnels burrowed by animals on my farm and an old Flir thermal imaging camera is not showing that so I'm assuming I either haven't set the correct settings or it's not IR, hence why I'm getting into learning about what all the settings mean.
@TEquipment17 күн бұрын
Emissivity is likely not the issue in this instance. IR cameras cannot see through the tunnels, just the readable temperature differences. Even if the animal stays in one place for a long time (or has a nest) the depth of the tunnels, ambient airflow of said tunnels, and strength of your camera specs may prevent any readable difference in temperature. A borescope may be more what you're looking for. It's more invasive than an IR camera, but you'd get a better view. You can read more about them and see what units we have available here: www.tequipment.net/borescopes/ We hope this helped!

I need to be honest. I am torn. I can’t decide if I love this guy or cannot stand this guy! I think it’s a little bit of both. And I think I’m leaning towards. I love this guy. Like, this is a guy I could hang out with and make fun of other peoples stupidity at work. I would also tell him to put a piece of tape on his forehead if he was gonna take a thermal image I think he would understand that. And Wood. Anybody reading this can’t see me, so you have no idea how absolutely hilarious is. If you could see me, you would understand. I’m giving this video 10 out of 10 stars. Because I could tell I would be good friends with this dude… Thanks for that man!

Forces liquid refrigerant through the suction tube which is wider and will allow the liquid to mix in with liquid better and keep your tank cooler and speed up recovery. This is the way I perform mine and I rarely have to use ice too keep my tank cool

Hello, a thermal imager would help for any temperature disparities created by leaks and moisture, but the clearest indicator would be a moisture meter. FLIR sells imaging moisture meters for a clear picture, but you can shop all moisture meters here: www.tequipment.net/environmental-testers-physical-property/moisture-meters/?search=true

If you have an universal adapter can you use the iphone version on your Samsung ?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee if it would work consistently if at all. The hardware differences and Apple ID chip would most likely prevent the adapter from working. Your best bet would be to purchase the matching accessory.

I have the SDS-1204X-E and it's I2C setup is practically identical. When I analyze a device, I notice that the last byte of data in all reads displayed seems to be "~" in Hex display mode. I see it here on all your reads as well. I wonder what this means? Is it a deliberate symbol for the I2C stop sequence or what? It's obviously not a normal hex value. I didn't see it mentioned in any scope documentation. I notice it on many (perhaps all?) I2C test setups I've used the scope with - but I'm not sure whether it means that I need to troubleshoot my terminations or I have the trigger level set wrong or something... thanks in advance, M ! Never Mind ! A more careful examination of the manual section titled "Interpreting I2C decode" showed the following: "~A" after a data or address bits indicates no acknowledgement. For example, DB~A Sorry to bother you! M

Is this is same software used in the new SDS800X HA? Can I use these same capabilities in the UART (RS-485) protocol? I also assume I can save the TX/RX data as binary to a USB drives and convert it on my pc? thank you!
@TEquipment4 ай бұрын
Hello, the software may not be exactly the same since the SDS2000X is an older model compared to the SDS8000X HD, but the SDS8000X HD does include serial decoding and powerful triggering modes, like serial bus triggering. This series also includes UART trigger and serial decode, but in order to confirm RS-485 and binary USB drive exportability we would recommend contacting our product experts at [email protected].

What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor meter ? Is it just more resistant to water ?
@TEquipment6 ай бұрын
They are more or less the same, with the main difference being durability for things such as water resistance and you mentioned. The biggest reason for outdoor meters vs indoor meters is convenience as workers like meter readers won't need home access in order to check your meter.
