I have the smaller one you’re talking about with the blower and smaller turbo fan, the blower doesn’t work and I have to replace the thermal fuse and clean both fans and after that we’ll see how it performs

How do you take the back off of the HT 9700 dual fan. The center screw one back is not phillips, Hex or torx. Can you please help. I have been going nutz. I am thinking about drilling out the center screw what ever type it is (this not the kind of work I do). Thanking you in advance Sam

Mine has small Phillips type screws. I only disassembled the fan heads. The screws are accessible through the rear guards. Look between the fins around the outer edge. Take the screws out. Then the front guard will come off and you can clean the blades, etc. I never removed any screws from the base. Some Honeywell and Duracraft fans might have safety/security screws. I believe it’s a T15x50mm bit size.
