Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS: Compatibility with PROSIX Sensors

Two comments on this video, the reason the 5834-4 is not compatible with the PROA7PLUS isn't the House ID. We're not entirely sure why it's not supported (there are other devices that are not supported due to the need for a House ID, such as the 5800RL, the 5800Wave, the 5828 keypads). The second comment is that currently, the end-user can't request a Firmware Update through the panel. We hope that's something that will be added in a later firmware update.

Alarm Grid is great company, service, tremendous value in these solutions over most high cost subscriptions with much less capability. Good support. Ordering new system, moving old one to off-site garage. long lasting

does this work for honeywell thermostat with redlink modules mounted outside to the condenser

The PROA7PLUS provides support for 4 WiFi Thermostats for Control and Monitoring via Total Connect (added and controlled via Total Connect) --Also Supports up to 6 Z-Wave Thermostats with local Control, and Scene control. The total combined WiFi and Z-Wave Thermostats can not exceed 6.

The reason the 5834-4 won’t work with the ProSeries is because it have the option for a panic button. So they don’t allow it … I wish they did because there are issues with the proseries fob with range

no the reason is b/c it requires a house id code

So what's the reason to install a PRO7APLUS over a Lyric? Partitioning access?

One of the features are partitions. I have found that the Pro A7 is more responsive with Total COnnect Remote services

The Lyric is discontinued.
