can I use ADT branded Pro7 plus on competitive monitoring system has zwave

ADT's was called the Command panel and is not compatible with anybody else's monitoring. If you can convince ADT to delete all the sensors they can be reused w/ PROA7PLUS.

You didn’t mention anything about how you should setup protakeover just skipped right over to adding sensors

The range seem to be low on the module

If you are speaking of the receiving range for RF devices, please make sure your module is making good connection to the antenna connections on the new backplate that came with the module.
