I do not understand the difference between foil, saber, and epee. Could someone explain that to me?

Foil is that you have to hit in like the middle. Mask, arms, legs are off target. Epee is you can hit anywhere. Saber is foil but you can use the side of your blade.

From a rule perspective: Only foil and sabre have "right of way". Sabre target area: torso, arm and head; foil target area: torso; epee target area: whole body. Epee and foil scores are triggered by touching through a point; sabre scores are triggered by touching through the sabre blade. Speed (relatively): sabre >> foil >> epee.
