Should have stayed in Macau atleast for 1-2 days. They have some amazing and luxurious hotels and resorts…few years back, I stayed at Venetian hotel which is one of the largest stays there…the hotel is independently a city in itself with malls, casinos, restaurants, sports etc within itself

You should have taken the Hk>Zhuhai> Macau bridge instead of boat. They have coaches to Macau. The ticket is cheaper and takes only 45mins. You can enjoy the view along.
